Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter is turning heads again.
This time, with a bold look that has fans buzzing online.
Growing up in the public eye, Shiloh Jolie (formerly Jolie-Pitt) has always marched to her own beat. As Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s eldest biological child, she preferred to be called John and chose to dress just like her brothers.
Brad Pitt once shared that Shiloh went through a phase of preferring completely different names.
“Shiloh would only respond to ‘John’ or ‘Peter,’ calling it a ‘Peter Pan thing,’” the Hollywood icon once shared.

Angelina has always supported Shiloh’s individuality, explaining, “I don’t think it’s for the world to interpret anything. She likes to dress like a boy and wants her hair cut like a boy, and she wanted to be called ‘John’ for a while.”
She added, “Some kids wear capes and want to be Superman, and she wants to be like her brothers. It’s who she is. It’s been a surprise to us, and it’s really interesting, but she’s so much more than that – she’s funny and sweet and pretty.”
Dropped her father’s surname
Shiloh’s style evolution has reflected her authenticity — from suits and cropped hair to a more fluid, ever-changing wardrobe.
When she turned 18, she skipped a big birthday bash. Instead, she marked the milestone by hiring her own lawyer to legally drop her father’s surname, changing from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie.
On the name change, attorney Peter Levine explained that Shiloh “made an independent and significant decision following painful events,” emphasizing that she was “merely following legal process” by making the information public.
“Shiloh Jolie did not take out an ‘ad’ announcing any name change, and any press reporting that is inaccurate,” Levine clarified to People.
“As Shiloh’s attorney, I am required to publish a legal notice because the law in California requires that of anyone who wants to change their name. That legal notice was published in the Los Angeles Times, as is required,” he added.
Her latest look
Shiloh doesn’t just seem to be moving on from the Pitt name.
For now, it looks like she’s also stepping away from her tomboy phase.
Lately, she’s looked to her mother, Angelina, 50, for style inspiration, trading her boyish buzz cut for long locks and swapping tailored suits for elegant, flowing gowns. And now, her latest look might just be her boldest transformation yet.
In a teaser for DAYOUNG’s upcoming music video, What’s a Girl to Do, Shiloh is almost unrecognizable.

Bathed in soft, moody lighting, she radiates quiet confidence. Her poised presence hints at someone fully embracing their identity, far beyond just a famous last name.
Shiloh’s recent cameo in the K-pop music video wasn’t a gift because of her famous family. According to the Daily Mail, she’s been training for years at LA’s Millennium Dance Complex, where staff didn’t even realize she was the daughter of two Hollywood icons.
Didn’t realize who she was
She earned the role through an open audition with a dance crew, and Starship Entertainment, the producers of the video, revealed they had no idea she was Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s child.
“We held an open audition in the United States of America to cast performers for Dayoung’s music video. Among those who took part were several performers affiliated with a dance crew called Culture,” the company told Maeil Business Newspaper Star Today.
“Shiloh was selected in the final round and ended up joining Dayoung’s music video. Even after filming, we had no idea she was the child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and only found out by chance quite recently,” the statement continued.
Regardless of what, fans quickly noticed Shiloh’s standout performance in DAYOUNG’s music video.
”She got her mama lips”
Some even noticed family resemblances: “I see a lot of a young Jon Voight,” while another declared, “She hit the DNA lottery.”

Shiloh’s style evolution has been nothing short of a wild ride.
From a child who loved ties and suits — something Angelina described as a “Montenegro style” — to a young adult embracing a sleek, K-pop-inspired aesthetic, Shiloh’s clearly stepping fully into her own identity.
In addition to Shiloh, Jolie and Pitt share four other children: sons Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, daughter Zahara, 21, and fraternal twins Vivienne and Knox, 17.
Both Zahara and Vivienne have also dropped “Pitt” from their names, though it’s unclear whether Vivienne did so legally.
Reports in 2024 suggested that Pitt has “virtually no contact” with his older children. A month after Shiloh filed to remove his surname, a source told People that his relationship with the rest of his kids remained strained.
“He has virtually no contact with the adult kids. His engagement with the younger kids is more limited in recent months because of his filming schedule,” one insider told People.
