“Dancing With the Stars” features many married couples among its cast. However, Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson tend to be among the fan-favorites. The pair brought home the Mirrorball trophy for seasons 32 and 33, respectively. Val and his partner, Alix Earle, came in second during the season 34 finale.

Val Chmerkovskiy & Jenna Johnson Celebrate Another Year of Marriage

Traveling and working so closely with a spouse isn’t always easy. But Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson absolutely thrive in it.

Jenna and Val met through their mutual love of dance. After several years of dating, the pair married on April 13, 2019. This week marked their seventh wedding anniversary, and they couldn’t be happier.

“7 years, that the government knows about,” Val began his sweet Instagram tribute. “To many more. I’m grateful to be loved by you and have the opportunity to love you, with exclusivity. Just me. Just mine. What a gift and honor it is to have a woman like you by my side. I never take it for granted and will always love and celebrate you.”

The post featured several important moments from their marriage, including their 2022 pregnancy announcement. The couple welcomed their son, Rome, on January 10, 2023.

Plenty of fans and even other stars congratulated the happy couple and wished them many more years of marital bliss.

Jenna Johnson Also Celebrated Her Birthday This Week

This week also marked a special birthday for Jenna. She celebrated her 32nd birthday on April 12. Of course, Val couldn’t let the occasion pass without doting on his wife.

“Happy birthday to my lady. The apple of my eye. I love you. ” the Ukrainian dancer shared earlier in the week.

The official DWTS cast list doesn’t come out until late summer, but fans sincerely hope the Chmerkovskiys will return for another season.

“Dancing With the Stars” season 35 returns to ABC this fall.
