When Donald Trump spoke to reporters outside of Air Force One with a wide stance that one might even describe as “man-spreading,” a photo of him went viral. But not necessarily because it stood with his legs spread apart with a boom mic placed precariously close to his groin, but because people are pretty sure he had a “full diaper.” That’s what they’re claiming on X (formerly Twitter) in response to the photo that has been shared and re-shared dozens of times.

It doesn’t help that there have long been rumors about Trump omitting some kind of smell, and needing to wear adult diapers, even though he has never admitted to that himself. But for those who loathe Trump and, well, everything he’s about, the photo has breathed new life into the rumor about Trump wearing a diaper and needing it changed more than he lets on.

People are convinced the photo of Trump means he had a full diaper on.

In one post on X, someone shared the photo of Trump and wrote, “Why is Donald Trump standing like this? Full diaper?” While some people responded to the post to joke that Trump’s pants were definitely full of, well, something, others actually think that Trump was wearing a diaper and that he stood like that to offset how uncomfortable it was for him.

“Pants are full, needing a changing!” Someone wrote in response on X. “Coming out of both ends…s—ty strange, just my stance. Tired of this s—ty man, turning everything he touches into s–t.”

Another user wrote, “Trump has a full diaper and is standing like that not to fall over.”

Apparently, though, some parents can see the telltale signs of an accident.

“My daughter used to do that during potty training when she had an accident in her pants…helped keep the mess off of her (a bit),” a user wrote. “Moms knew instantly why he was standing like that…”

Another parent added, “Toddlers stand like that after they s–t their diaper. I remember that stance well.”

Other people speculated on X that Trump stood that way because he needed to better balance himself. Some even wrote that they believe the elderly president might have dementia, and that standing in that way helped keep him steady. But mostly, people are here for the poop jokes.

One person even claimed on X, “He was actively s–ting himself while taking that photo.”

“OMG he looks like he’s filling his pants,” someone else said on X. “Surprised nothing is coming out of the bottom of his trouser legs.”

There were already diaper theories before the picture went viral.

Even before Trump was photographed in that wide stance that looks like he is either confused or actively relieving himself, people had theories about Trump wearing a diaper. A former assistant from The Apprentice made claims about Trump wearing a diaper and, after that, the rumor sort of began to gain steam. The former employee claimed that Trump had to allegedly wear a diaper due to incontinence issues.

In a Reddit thread about the diaper rumor, one user wrote, “There are now 2 people, a Republican Congressman, and a journalist who has interviewed him, who have suggested he smells extremely bad and could be due to incontinence. There are a few moments where Trump clearly at least farted on camera, once in the debate with Biden and once in another appearance. Though ultimately I don’t think that’s enough to say the rumor is confirmed.”

The idea that Trump is wearing a diaper in the photo with his weird leg stance is seeming more and more likely to some. So really, it’s not too surprising that someone wrote on X that Trump has a “diaper change required.” Or, that “he has extra thick Depends on.”

Trump reportedly has a smell people have talked about a lot.

Nothing helps fuel diaper rumors about Trump like other rumors regarding the way he smells. He is pushing 80, after all. According to Medium, White House staffers have made claims about Trump having terrible body odor. The so-called old man smell reportedly includes notes of roast beef and rotting organs. Those who believe Trump wears diapers might add human excrement to that running list.

And, someone pointed out on Reddit, “Explains why Melania always has that sour look on her face when she’s with him and won’t even hold his hand in public.”
