Beloved singer and beauty mogul Rihanna posed with her daughter for W Magazine, with the cover quickly sparking conversation online.

“Cover girrrrrlz!!!” Rihanna captioned the photo on social media. “Baby Rocki served sumn serious on her first cover! came on set and shut her mama dowwwnn!!!!”

Rihanna and her longtime partner A$AP Rocky welcomed Rocki on September 13, 2025. The couple also shares two sons: RZA, born in 2022, and Riot, born in 2023.

In the image, Rihanna wears a black coat with a white feather neckline while holding her daughter, who rests one hand on her arm. Both are dressed in Dior Haute Couture, with Rocki wearing a custom Dior diaper and floral headpiece.

Jonathan Anderson confirmed that the piece is “definitely a first for Dior,” adding, “When Rihanna asks for something, she is already ahead of what is happening. When she has an idea, I’m always trusting in the process.”

While many fans celebrated the moment, others were more concerned about privacy and criticized the luxury styling.

“We do not need another celebrity using their literal baby as a high-fashion prop just to sell magazine covers. Putting a toddler in a Dior diaper for an editorial shoot is peak luxury absurdity. Let the child have a normal life away from the flashing cameras,” one X-user wrote.

In the new W Magazine pop issue, published April 21, A$AP Rocky spoke about their relationship and how the couple shares many interests, like watching movies.

“Like the Bob Marley one. Watching films together is so fun. We must’ve watched El Cantante 15 times,” he said.

He also described Rihanna as “magical.”

“Philosophically, the way she operates is on another level. She is the most charming and genuine person on Earth. Her energy is unmatched—one of a kind. I just adore her,” he added.

The feature also included comments from artists like SZA, Mariah Carey, and Mary J. Blige.

The couple, who have been together since 2020, announced Rocki’s birth with a photo of Rihanna holding the newborn, captioned, “Rocki Irish Mayers. Sept 13 2025.”

Her name continues the family’s “R” tradition. A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Athelston Mayers, and Rihanna, who was born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, have made sure all their children have names beginning with the same letter.

“It’s always going to be an R name,” Rihanna said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “That’s the one thing me and Rocky don’t fight over.”

After welcoming two boys, A$AP Rocky had previously shared his hopes for a daughter. “I feel like it’s going to be a girl. This pregnancy is so different from the other two,” he said. “You can tell from the experience. I hope it’s a baby girl, man. I need that.”
