Remember When Blake Shelton Dressed as a Pink Easter Bunny & Made a Baby Cry?

Blake Shelton’s Pink Easter Bunny Costume – Country star hilariously scares a baby in viral Easter moment that had fans laughing out loud! Watch the unforgettable moment as the singer’s bunny antics cause an unexpected meltdown — and the internet can’t get enough of it!

The country sing had good intentions as he surprised Carson Daly’s young daughter as a bunny, but it did not go well.

Easter weekend is here, and as families celebrate with egg hunts and spring treats, an iconic holiday moment is hopping back into the spotlight thanks to Blake Shelton’s hilarious visit with Carson Daly and his family that didn’t go quite as planned. If you were to ask Daly’s daughter, she’d probably think it was less a festive pop-in and more of an attack from Easter Bunny Blake.

Watch The Voice on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

In April 2022, the country superstar and former Coach of The Voice decided to get festive by dressing up as the Easter Bunny and showing up at Daly’s home to surprise his longtime friend. A proud father of four, Daly’s daughter, Goldie, was less than thrilled with the unexpected visit. Instead of delivering Easter cheer, Shelton’s well-meant prank totally backfired in the funniest way. Daly shared the moment on social media, capturing the exact second his young daughter Goldie became terrified of the towering 6’5″ bunny.

While Bunny Shelton held Daly’s daughter, Goldie turned to her father with utter horror. As Goldie burst into tears, Shelton beamed from bunny ear to bunny ear for the Easter snapshot, finding humor in the chaotic holiday moment. Daly captioned the Instagram post, “Goldie’s not so sure about this Oklahoma #EasterBunny. #HappyEaster.”

Shelton’s hysterical Easter pop-in joins a legion of cherished memories between the country star and Daly, who have been friends for many years thanks to their shared tenure on The Voice.

“Carson’s a grumpy old man,” Shelton teased with People in a January 2023 interview. “He truly is the grumpiest man on the planet, and I’d say that if he were sitting right here next to me. He is just one of those guys where he’s got a backache, or he’s mad I’m taking too long. He’s just always chewing my ass out about something.”

Daly’s curmudgeonly antics never faze Shelton, who says their friendship works “because it rolls off my back, and he’s OK with me making fun of him.”

Despite the cheeky asides and fake rivalry seen throughout The Voice, Shelton and Daly are the best of buds, remaining tight following Shelton’s final season as a Coach in Season 23.

“Today’s just gonna be weird!” Daly shared on social media on Shelton’s final day in the red chair. “No other way to put it. For over 12 years I’ve watched the cowboy do his thing on @nbcthevoice & we have laughed & had fun, literally the entire time. Thank you buddy! Enjoy your big red chair retirement, you’ve earned it! Now let’s go make a drink! (Bring some ice over from your room, they never gave me any) #OneMoreShow,”

The fuzzy feelings are mutual. Shelton told People, “[Daly] is the glue of The Voice. I’ve said that for years.”

Rest assured, Shelton and Daly are forever friends. Not only did Daly officiate Gwen Stefani and Shelton’s July 2021 wedding, but Shelton and Daly hosted their own show, Barmageddon, giving them ample time to catch up over bar games and drinks. And to think that their friendship all began with their behind-the-scenes shenanigans on The Voice.

“THE NIGHT THAT CHANGED BLAKE SHELTON FOREVER.” Late one stormy Oklahoma night in 2007, after finishing a long recording session, Blake Shelton drove home through sheets of rain — when he saw something on the side of the road that made him stop cold. There, barely visible under a broken streetlight, was a newborn baby, wrapped in nothing but a soaked towel. No sound but the rain. No one else in sight. Blake didn’t hesitate. He pulled over, scooped the tiny child into his arms, and called for help — then waited, drenched, holding that fragile heartbeat close until emergency responders arrived. Witnesses say he stayed at the hospital for hours afterward, quietly watching over the baby until doctors said it would be okay. He never spoke publicly about that night. Not once. Until now. In a rare, emotional moment during a recent interview, Blake finally opened up — his voice low, breaking… Read the full untold story of Blake Shelton’s secret act of compassion — below 👇

“JUST LOVE.” — THE NIGHT BLAKE SHELTON COULDN’T HOLD BACK THE TEARS. No one in the arena expected it — not the fans, not even Blake himself. What was meant to be a high-energy finale of guitars and fireworks turned into one of the most intimate, emotional moments ever seen on stage. As the lights dimmed and the crowd began to cheer for the encore, a video began to play on the big screen. It wasn’t concert footage — it was home. Blake, barefoot on the porch. Blake teaching the boys how to fish. Gwen laughing as they danced in the kitchen. It was love — unpolished, real, and raw. Then, softly, a voice said, “Happy Father’s Day, Blake.” And out they came — Gwen Stefani and her three sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. No glitter, no lights. Just family, walking toward him with flowers and microphones in hand. Kingston began to sing, his voice shaking; Zuma strummed a quiet rhythm; little Apollo tapped along — and Gwen just smiled through tears, her hand resting on Blake’s heart. When Blake joined in on “Forever Love,” his voice cracked. The crowd stood silent — 20,000 people holding their breath as a country superstar became just a husband, a father, a man overwhelmed by grace. By the final note, Blake could barely sing. Gwen kissed his cheek. The audience erupted — not in cheers, but in something deeper. A collective heartbeat. Because for once, it wasn’t about fame, or charts, or lights.
