Meaning behind Erika Kirkâs heartbreaking gesture
Yesterday (September 21), at her late husbandâs memorial service, Charlie Kirkâs widow did something very touching.
Earlier this month, the late political activist and Turning Point USA figurehead was shot and killed while giving a speech at Utah Valley University.
The 31-year-oldâs wife, Erika Kirk, and their two young kids are still alive.
Over the weekend, his funeral was held at the home of the NFL team Arizona Cardinals. Tens of thousands of fans and MAGA officials were there, and President Donald Trump, his aide JD Vance, and Mrs. Kirk all paid their respects.
During the motherâs speech, there was one moment that stood out: she put her left fingers in a certain way and pointed them toward the sky. What did it all mean?

Lingvano says that Kirk did a âI love youâ gesture.
You need to make a âLâ with your thumb and index finger and keep them extended. Then, lift your little finger.
The middle and ring fingers need to stay on your palm, and finally, point your hand at the person youâre talking to.
Kirk was sending a message to her husband in heaven by pointing her hand up.
In another part of her tribute, the 36-year-old said of the dead person, âHe left this world without regret.â Every day, he did everything he could. But I want you to know that Charlie died with unfinished work, not with unfinished business.
Then she went on to say that she had forgiven the man who killed her husband, who is thought to be Tyler Robinson.
âI forgive him because thatâs what Christ did.â âFather, forgive them; they donât know what theyâre doing.â
Then she said that Mr. Kirk âwanted to save young men, just like the one who killed himself,â and then she said that she would be the CEO and chairwoman of Turning Point USA.
The widow said, âThe world needs a group that will point young people away from the path of misery and sin.â She then promised, âEvery part of our work will become greater.â
Trump will soon give the fallen right-wing commentator the Presidential Medal of Freedom after he dies.
In other news, Mr. Kirkâs surgeon allegedly told TPUSA member Andrew Kolvet that the victim âmiraculouslyâ saved other peopleâs lives on the day he died for one reason.
