Jelly Roll’s wife Bunnie Xo reflected on her tumultuous past as she shared seven of her mugshots on Tuesday, ahead her memoir release.
The Dumb Blonde podcast host, 45, looked back at her ups and downs over the years and her journey to redemption in a lengthy Instagram post, stating that her first arrest took place when she was just 19 years old.
Bunnie — whose real name is Alisa DeFord — said that by 19 she was already ‘living on the streets of Vegas for 5 years’ and had ‘lost three babies.’
‘As the pics go on the eyes only get more sad, more broken & more intoxicated,’ the star added, stating she was ‘deep in addiction’ and ‘lost in survival mode.’
The social media personality — who had once worked as an escort prior to staring a lucrative OnlyFans, before fully retiring from sex work in 2023 — shared that eventually she got ‘sick of humiliating myself’ and ‘had to stop pointing fingers’ explaining, ‘I was the problem & the solution.’
She added that she is ‘not ashamed of these photos’ while her rapper-turned-country star husband, 40 — who recently admitted to cheating on her — commented that she was his inspiration, writing: ‘It was your story that inspired mine, it was always you I was trying to be like.’

The Dumb Blonde podcast host looked back at her ups and downs over the years in a lengthy Instagram post, stating that her first arrest took place when she was just 19 years old
The first mugshot shows a makeup-free Bunnie in a grey hoodie, with her dark hair pulled back, as she stares somberly into the camera.
In the second and third one, her hair begins looking more platinum blonde. By the fourth mugshot, she’s smiling at the camera, her blonde hair worn straight and a touch of makeup highlighting her features.
The fifth photo sees her wearing a lip piercing and a bright red t-shirt.
In the last two mugshots, Bunnie’s eye makeup becomes more dramatic, and in the very final photo, her expression turns noticeably sad.
Bunnie’s caption read: ‘Wow, just wowwww. I had no idea the emotions it would unlock when I asked my lawyer to pull all my mugshots for me. (We pulled them all for a really cool idea for merch for my book tour.)’
She went on: ‘Looking at the first one, I just couldn’t believe what a baby I was. I was 19, already living on the streets of Vegas for 5 years, couch to couch, or with whatever boyfriend would let me stay. By then I’d already lost three babies.’
‘As the pics go on the eyes only get more sad, more broken & more intoxicated. The fact that I’m smiling in some of these will let you kno just how disconnected I was from myself & my emotions,’ Bunnie wrote.
‘I look at those photos now & just want to hug that little girl. She thought surviving meant hyper independence, fighting in the streets, barking loud & biting even harder.’
Bunnie added that the last mugshot was then when she was 26 and ‘arrested for soliciting an undercover cop on a casino floor.’

‘I can still see the drugs in my skin, the bloodshot eyes, the hollow look that comes when you’ve stopped caring if you wake up tomorrow.’
‘I was deep in addiction, lost in survival mode. Add in a splash of perpetual victim mentality & it was a recipe for disaster,’ she went on.
It was then that she decided to turn her life around.
‘But, I got sick. Sick of humiliating myself, sick of always having to start over & sick of who I was as a human. I had to stop pointing fingers & realize, two things can be true: I was the problem & the solution.’
‘But, even when I didn’t deserve it, God kept pulling me out the fire. Every overdose that didn’t take me, every time I inserted myself in harms way. He said, “No, there’s still work for you to do & what’s tea for them will be testimony for you.”‘
Bunnie then said she is, ‘not ashamed of these photos. They remind me who I used to be, & how far grace has carried me.’
‘If you’re in your own rock-bottom season right now, I need you to know this – you can rebuild. You CAN rewrite your story & start believing in yourself. You are never too far gone for God to find you, love you, & lift you out.’
She went on to say that she is ‘still learning’ and ‘still healing’ before adding, ‘but one thing is for certain- if He could do it for me… He damn sure can do it for you too.’
Her memoir, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic, will be released on February 10 in 2026.
Jelly Roll left a supportive comment on the post, writing, ‘I would have never became the man I am with out you. It was your story that inspired mine, it was always you I was trying to be like.’
He went on, ‘Im glad the world is about to hear the real perseverance, and see what God can really do. While people talked about us, judged us, wished on our downfall, we just stayed the course and believed what God had for us no man could take away.’
‘We overcome by the blood of the lamb and the power of out testimony. TESTIFY BABY! TESTIFY!’

She launched her podcast in 2019. She has also appeared on Playboy TV as well as several of Jelly Roll’s music videos, such as ‘Beautiful Disaster’ and ‘All My Life.’
