DEVOTED CHRISTIAN DEMOCRAT CAUGHT FOLLOWING SEX WORKERS AND ADULT STARS ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Texas Democratic state lawmaker and U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico — who has made his Christian faith central to his political identity — is facing scrutiny over his Instagram activity.
An Axios review found Talarico’s account followed several porn stars, OnlyFans models, and individuals advertising escort services, and had liked posts from at least one account connected to an escorting website.
Talarico’s spokesperson says multiple staff members use the account and follow back high-engagement accounts without vetting them, adding that Talarico “does not judge these women” and “has never subscribed to OnlyFans or an escort service.”
Talarico, a Presbyterian seminarian, has previously been praised by Barack Obama and Joe Rogan as a rising Democratic figure. He is currently running for U.S. Senate.
