Craig Morgan and Jelly Roll performed their duet “Almost Home” on the Grand Ole Opry Stage for The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2023

Craig Morgan released his EP Enlisted on November 10, 2023. It is a six song project, where he re-recorded some of his hits with a few of his friends. The track listing is as follows:

Craig Morgan Re-Enlisted in the US Army Reserves

The album announcement came a little over a month after Morgan re-enlisted in the US Army Reserves live on the Grand Ole Opry stage.

I’m excited to once again serve my country and be all I can be in hopes of encouraging others to be a part of something greater than ourselves. Thank you to the Opry, the US Army Recruiting Command and everyone who helped make last Saturday night so special,” he wrote on social media on August 4th.

In November 2002, he released a song titled “Almost Home” as the second single off his album I Love It. It peaked at number six on Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart, but because of its meaningful lyrics, it’s become a fan-favorite over the years. It’s no surprise that Morgan chose to re-record it for Enlisted.
