Bublé and Chambers performed ‘Blue Christmas’ on the second night of ‘The Voice’ finale. For the unversed, the song made famous by Elvis Presley in 1957 was later recorded by Bublé on his 2011 album Christmas, as per American Songwriter. Talking about the Top 6 contestants, Aiden Ross and DEK of Hearts from Team Niall Horan, Jazz McKenzie and Chambers from Team Bublé, Ralph Edwards from Team Snoop, and Aubrey Nicole from Team Reba McEntire, were all set to perform a duet with their coach.

The episode opened with the coaches, Neal Schon, and Journey performing a medley of the band’s hits with the Top 6 and playoff contestants, closing with ‘Don’t Stop Believin”.

This is followed by a lighthearted Wild West–themed skit featuring the coaches, a Santa Claus cameo judging who’s been naughty or nice, as per MJSBigBlog. Niall Horan then discussed a partnership with Ross before Season 23 winner Gina Miles. Later, Miles stepped in to duet with Ross on Wham!’s ‘Last Christmas’ due to Niall being on vocal rest.

The performance was well-received and ended with a sweet moment when Ross gave Miles a stuffed bear at the end. Khalid performed a medley of his hits before Bublé and McKenzie, dressed in ugly Christmas sweaters, sang a fun rendition of ‘Jingle Bell Rock’. The segment continued with season 26 winner Sofronio Vasquez, whose debut is being produced with help from Bublé, David Foster, and Paul Anka, culminating in a performance of his soft-rock track ‘Superman’. Country star Riley Green then performed ‘Jesus Saves’ on acoustic guitar, followed by Reba McEntire and Nicole singing ‘Mary Did You Know’.

The coaches then promote the upcoming Winter Olympics before Snoop Dogg and Edwards team up for a performance of Donny Hathaway’s ‘This Christmas.’ Following that, K-pop group XG made their American television debut on ‘The Voice,’ performing energetically with all seven members on stage. Then, Carson Daly announced the Top 6 results, McKenzie finished 6th, and Chambers finished 5th, as per Gold Derby. Nicole came in 4th, and DEK of Hearts placed 3rd, setting up a showdown between Snoop Dogg and Horan for the top two spots. In the end, Horan’s Ross emerged as the winner of ‘The Voice’ Season 28.
