Country star Hailey Whitters welcomes first child with husband Jake Gear and reveals baby boy’s special name

COUNTRY star Hailey Whitters has announced she welcomed her first child with her husband, Jake Gear.
The couple shared the exciting news in an Instagram post on Tuesday
Hailey, 36, posted a slideshow of photos, including one of her holding the newborn’s hand, while he donned a salmon-colored onesie.
“RYE WHITTERS GEAR and just like that everything is different,” the singer wrote in her caption.
“Born Dec 4th on a cold moon supermoon with a true knot, we have no doubt Uncle D held you close in his heavenly arms before handing you off to us on the mortal side.”
Hailey continued, “The cliche really is true – we don’t know what we ever did without you here. We can’t wait to see who you become.
“Thank you to all our friends and family who’ve checked in on us these last few weeks… the boy is already so well-loved. Welcome to the world, our sweet son.”
The comments section flooded with congratulatory messages for the new parents, including from fellow country star Travis Denning, who wrote, “Congratulations yall!! So happy for you both.”
Hailey revealed in August that she and her publishing executive husband were expecting their first baby.
She posted photos of herself cradling her growing baby bump in a loose-fitting, long-sleeved yellow mini dress while sharing a kiss with Jake in a cornfield.
The setting was fitting, considering the Everything She Ain’t singer was preparing to kick off her Corn Queen Tour in September.
The month-long tour began in Nashville, Tennessee, and wrapped in Chicago on October 11.
The cornfield also held significance to the lovebirds, who used it as the backdrop in their wedding photos when they exchanged vows in October 2022.
Jake also popped the question in an Iowa cornfield in 2020.
