The Chart-Topping Christian Artist Led Worship Both Backstage And In The Arena At The Professional Bull Riders Event

“While you may be known for the ride, God’s lookin’ at you and goin’, ‘I want to see what you do with the room,’” said Christian artist Brandon Lake to a group of cowboys at Madison Square Garden. “Not just the room that you’re about to walk out into with thousands of people, but right here, backstage.”

What did they do with the room?

With help from Brandon, who just released his country duet with Cody Johnson, “When A Cowboy Prays,” the cowboys worshipped the risen savior, Jesus Christ.

This was done on Sunday, Jan. 11, backstage at the PBR Unleash The Beast Buck Off.

Held at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Lake’s visit with the competitors, as well as his performance, occurred ahead of the start of Round 3 of the PBR event.

Performing for an estimated 42,000 in attendance, as well as the streaming audience through Paramount Plus, Brandon Lake led the PBR Unleash The Beast Buck Off in worship with one of his newest songs: “When A Cowboy Prays.”

Before the big Round 3 kickoff performance, Brandon led worship backstage for the competitors.

In a video shared on social media, the competitors could be seen being led in worship as Brandon sang his song “Gratitude.”

While he was in New York, he also took his kids to Times Square, where he was able to show his wife and children a gigantic billboard for his duet of “When A Cowboy Prays” with Cody Johnson.
