David Beckham Sends Loving Birthday Message to Brooklyn Despite Reported Family Rift

Former England football star David Beckham has publicly wished his eldest son Brooklyn Beckham a happy birthday, despite reports that Brooklyn has distanced himself from his family.
On his personal social media account, which has more than 88 million followers, Beckham shared a childhood photo of Brooklyn with his parents along with the message: “Happy 27th birthday to Brooklyn. Mum and dad love you.”
In another post, the former footballer shared a picture of himself with his son and wrote simply: “Love you.”
Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham also posted a childhood photo of Brooklyn and wrote: “Happy 27th birthday to Brooklyn. I love you so much.”

The couple’s posts have drawn attention because reports in February suggested that Brooklyn had asked his parents not to mention him on social media. He was also said to have blocked family members on online platforms and stated that any future communication should go through lawyers.
According to Daily Mirror, David Beckham’s decision to publicly mention his son could potentially escalate the family tension.
Earlier, Brooklyn reportedly shared a six-page open letter accusing his parents of behavior he described as “toxic,” claiming it affected both his personal life and his marriage to his wife, Nicola Peltz.
Brooklyn alleged that his mother had initially been enthusiastic about designing Nicola’s wedding dress but cancelled the plan at the last minute, forcing the bride to find an alternative in a short period of time.
He also claimed his mother once called him “a cruel person” after he suggested inviting Nicola’s grandmothers to sit at the main table during the wedding reception. Brooklyn further alleged that Victoria behaved inappropriately at the event and even took over the couple’s first dance, leaving him feeling “deeply humiliated.”
Brooklyn also revealed that just weeks before his 2022 wedding, his parents pressured him to sign an agreement relinquishing rights to his own name. According to him, his refusal to sign worsened the family relationship because it affected certain business arrangements tied to the Beckham brand.
After these accusations surfaced, the Beckham family quickly became a major topic in the media, with the once-celebrated image of their close-knit family now being widely questioned.
In recent months, Brooklyn and Nicola have reportedly cut off contact with the Beckham family and have been absent from several family events. Instead, Brooklyn frequently shares affectionate photos with his wife and her family, saying that life in the United States brings him a sense of peace.

Despite the strong statements from their son, David and Victoria Beckham have remained silent about the allegations. Friends close to the couple say they still hope to reconcile with Brooklyn and believe the family may reunite in the future.
David Beckham and Victoria Beckham are considered one of the most famous and influential couples in global sports and entertainment. They met in 1997, when Beckham was a star player for Manchester United and Victoria was a member of the pop group Spice Girls.
The couple married in 1999 in a lavish wedding in Ireland and soon became pop-culture icons often referred to by the media as “Posh and Becks.”
After more than two decades together, they have four children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper. While David Beckham has continued building his career in football and sports business, Victoria Beckham has moved into fashion, launching her own eponymous brand.
