On Thursday, May 16, country music\u2019s biggest stars came together in Frisco, Texas for the 59th Annual\u00a0ACM Awards<\/em>.\u00a0Hosted by Reba McEntire, the show featured performances from the likes of Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean and so many more. McEntire herself also performed a new song!<\/p>\n

While the announcement of performers was revealed a while ago, we didn\u2019t know what anyone was performing until just days before the ceremony! We found out McEntire will be performing her brand-new song \u201cI Can\u2019t,\u201d while Jelly Roll will also be\u00a0debuting a new track!<\/p>\n

On May 14, the ACMs announced that Jason Aldean\u2019s performance at the show will be a tribute to the late Toby Keith.<\/h3>\n

Jason and Toby were close, especially in the last few months of the \u201cShould\u2019ve Been A Cowboy\u201d singer\u2019s life.<\/h3>\n

In October, just four months before Toby passed away,\u00a0Jason brought his good buddy on stage at a concert in Oklahoma City. He told the crowd,\u00a0\u201cThere\u2019s only one guy you think of when you come to Oklahoma City. So make some noise for\u2026.Toby Keith!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

They performed \u201cShould\u2019ve Been A Cowboy\u201d and Toby sounded great. It\u2019s hard to believe he passed away less than four months later.<\/p>\n
