Chappell Roan accused of making Jude Law\u2019s 11-year-old daughter cry as stepdad soccer star Jorginho fumes<\/p>\n

A Brazilian soccer star\u00a0accused pop singer Chappell Roan\u00a0of bringing his 11-year-old daughter to \u201ctears\u201d after the diva\u2019s security ridiculed and berated the child at a Sao Paulo hotel Saturday.<\/p>\n

Jorginho slammed the \u201cPink Pony Club\u201d crooner\u00a0in a lengthy Instagram post, claiming she sent her security guard after his daughter for supposedly harassing and disrespecting her while they dined at the same hotel \u2014 a jarring confrontation that left the youngster \u201cextremely shaken.\u201d<\/p>\n

The family was staying at the hotel ahead of Roan\u2019s headlining Lollapalooza set in Brazil.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went through a very upsetting situation with my family earlier today,\u201d the defensive midfielder said, noting his excited daughter woke up early that day and made a sign for the 28-year-old \u201cHot to Go!\u201d singer.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring breakfast, the artist walked past their table. My daughter, like any child, recognized her, got excited, and just wanted to make sure it was really her,\u201d the distraught dad continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the worst part is she didn\u2019t even approach her. She simply walked past the singer\u2019s table, looked to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to sit with her mum. She didn\u2019t say anything, she didn\u2019t ask for anything. What happened next was completely disproportionate.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jorginho said a \u201clarge security guard\u201d stormed over and yelled at his daughter and wife for allegedly letting the child \u201cdisrespect\u201d and \u201charass\u201d others, and warned they\u2019d be reported to hotel management.<\/p>\n

He said the hostile exchange left his daughter deeply rattled and inconsolable.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, I don\u2019t know at what point simply walking past a table and looking to see if someone is there can be considered harassment,\u201d the Flamengo player said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe even said he would file a complaint against them with the hotel, while my 11-year-old daughter was sitting there in tears. I\u2019ve lived with football, public exposure, and well-known people for many years, and I understand very well what respect and boundaries are. What happened there was not that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cRed Wine Supernova\u201d is notorious for setting boundaries with her fans and paparazzi \u2013 going so far as to call their behavior \u201cpredatory.\u201d<\/p>\n

Roan previously said she doesn\u2019t \u201cowe a mutual exchange of energy, time, or attention\u201d to strangers simply \u201cbecause they\u2019re expressing admiration.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jorginho said Roan\u2019s treatment toward his daughter was \u201csad to see,\u201d stressing his child was just \u201cadmiring someone.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s sad to see this kind of treatment coming from those who should understand the importance of fans. At the end of the day, they are the ones who build all of this,\u201d he blasted, adding that the pop star would \u201cbe nothing\u201d without her fans.<\/p>\n

The unidentified child appeared to be 11-year-old Ada Law, whom Jorginho\u2019s wife, Catherine Harding, had with her movie star ex-husband, Jude Law,\u00a0People reported.<\/p>\n

The Post couldn\u2019t immediately reach Roan for comment \u2014 and People reported she didn\u2019t respond to requests for comment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I\u2019ve heard the name, Chappell Roan, but otherwise was unfamiliar with this celebrity until recently when I saw photos of her outfit at the grammys. So here she is again, so I checked out her \u201cmusic\u201d on YouTube. I could only endure about a minute of a 3 1\/2 minute mix. The good news is that this e\u2026<\/p>\n

    Why would any parents let your kids be \u201cfans\u201d of these people is beyond me. Teach them that it\u2019s fine to listen to their music, but separate the product from the person.       I\u2019ve seen a clip of her demonstrate disrespect to others; shoving a publicist at the Grammys. Ms. Roan needs to revisit the days where she was a nobody. Singing in parks and public to no one.
