Dolly Parton has done just about everything in the music industry\u2014but she\u2019s still finding new ways to push boundaries and expand her legendary career.<\/p>\n

Fans everywhere are buzzing with excitement as the country music icon prepares to release her very first rock album. This comes a year after she initially turned down a nomination for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, feeling she hadn\u2019t \u00abearned the right.\u00bb However, in 2022, the 77-year-old was officially inducted, and now she\u2019s making sure there\u2019s no doubt that she belongs.<\/p>\n

Determined to prove herself in the rock world, Dolly promised to create an album in honor of her induction\u2014and now, the long-awaited release date is finally here!<\/p>\n

At first, reports suggest Dolly was hesitant about her Hall of Fame recognition. Best known for her country roots, she wasn\u2019t sure she fit the mold. But after the public overwhelmingly voted her in, she embraced the honor and immediately got to work on an album that would cement her place among rock\u2019s greatest legends.<\/p>\n

Set for release on November 17,\u00a0Rockstar<\/em>\u00a0is bringing her vision to life. The album boasts an impressive 30 tracks\u2014nine original songs and 21 fresh takes on classic hits, featuring collaborations with music\u2019s biggest names. Fans can expect to hear new renditions of\u00a0Every Breath You Take<\/em>\u00a0with Sting and\u00a0Wrecking Ball<\/em>\u00a0alongside her goddaughter, Miley Cyrus.<\/p>\n

The guest list is just as iconic, with appearances from Stevie Nicks, Steven Tyler, Sir Paul McCartney, Elton John, and many more.<\/p>\n

Speaking earlier this year on\u00a0The View<\/em>, Dolly opened up about her initial reluctance to accept the Hall of Fame induction:<\/p>\n

\u00abI just didn\u2019t feel like I deserved it, but after they explained why I was chosen, I decided to accept it if they insisted on giving it to me.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00abBut I told myself, if I\u2019m going to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, I have to do something to earn it.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n
