\u201cWtf is this doing on Netflix. I can\u2019t imagine what it would do to the sensibilities of unsuspecting families opening it for a mindless Sunday viewing,\u201d a second person wrote.<\/p>\n

Viewers left mortified by Netflix\u2019s \u2018most explicit movie ever\u2019<\/h2>\n

A third explained, \u201cJust watched Y Tu Mama Tambien for the first time. Expected it to be the horniest movie I\u2019d ever seen and it was somehow even more horny than that.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, while many argue it\u2019s too explicit for Netflix, others say it\u2019s great.<\/p>\n

However, director Alfonso Cuar\u00f3n defended the movie. He explained that explicit scenes are important for a particular reason.<\/p>\n

His brother, Carlos, who helped with the script to the movie, added: \u201cThat portrait of adolescence with its failures and virtues, the narrator who doesn\u2019t narrate but contextualizes things and helped us avoid explanatory scenes, the enormous chemistry between Diego and Gael, and the counterpoint that Maribel provided were some of the many factors.\u201d<\/p>\n

He concluded, \u201cNone of us who made it thought it would have such success. When we wrote the screenplay, we didn\u2019t know who would dare make it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Still, despite the strong reactions, the film has been widely praised by critics and holds high ratings. On IMDB, it\u2019s been rated 7,7 ut of 10, and it has a 90% rating.<\/p>\n
