Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has called for President Donald Trump to be removed from office under the Twenty-fifth Amendment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The controversy began after\u00a0Trump<\/a>\u00a0posted on social media, writing: \u201cA whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don\u2019t want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change\u2026 maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS?,\u201d according to\u00a0VT.<\/a><\/p>\n

He reportedly went on to describe the moment as potentially \u201cone of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World.\u201d<\/p>\n

The post came after Donald Trump warned that\u00a0Iran\u00a0<\/a>\u201ccould be taken out in one night,\u201d adding: \u201cAnd that night could be tomorrow night.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also suggested that if Iran don\u2019t meet his demands, the country could be pushed back to the \u201cStone Ages,\u201d stating: \u201cThey\u2019re going to have no bridges\u2026 They\u2019re going to have no power plants.\u201d<\/p>\n

The scale of destruction described in his remarks has drawn sharp criticism, with some critics raising the possibility of invoking the Twenty-fifth Amendment, a rarely used constitutional provision that allows a president to be removed from office under certain circumstances.<\/p>\n

Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene responded to Trumps comment, writing: \u201c25TH AMENDMENT!!! Not a single bomb has dropped on America. We cannot kill an entire civilization. This is evil and madness.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump announces ceasefire with Iran<\/h2>\n

After mediating negotiations, Pakistan\u2019s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced early Wednesday that the ceasefire was in effect immediately.<\/p>\n

During this time, shipping traffic can move through the Strait of Hormuz, coordinated by the Iranian military. Trump reportedly said he would \u201csuspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks\u201d if Tehran agrees to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
