Melania Trump made a bombshell statement on Thursday where the first lady, out of the blue, denied any ties to the late convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Not long after, President Donald Trump made a bombshell claim about his wife.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Thursday, First Lady Melania Trump, out of the blue, made an on-camera statement from the White House. Speaking from the White House Cross Hall, Melania shockingly declared she\u00a0wasn\u2019t a victim of Jeffrey Epstein, nor an accomplice.<\/p>\n

She further urged Congress to hold public hearings with victims to expose the late convicted sex trafficker.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am not Epstein\u2019s victim. Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump,\u201d Melania said. \u201cDonald and I were invited to the same parties as Epstein from time to time since overlapping in social circles is common in New York City and Palm Beach. To be clear, I never had a relationship with Epstein or his accomplice, [Ghislaine] Maxwell.\u201d<\/p>\n

The first lady continued, \u201cI have never had any knowledge of Epstein\u2019s abuse of his victims. I was never involved in any capacity. I was not a participant, was never on Epstein\u2019s plane and never visited his private island.\u201d<\/p>\n

She concluded, \u201cNow is the time for Congress to act. Epstein was not alone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her husband, President Donald Trump, has been heavily linked to Jeffrey Epstein. He has denied any ties to him. However, not long after Melania Trump\u2019s statement, Donald decided to break the silence.<\/p>\n

Per her X account, speaking to\u00a0MS Now<\/a>\u00a0journalist Jacqueline Alemany, the president admitted that he \u201cdidn\u2019t know anything about\u2019 Melania\u2019s statement before her appearance on camera.<\/p>\n

The 79-year-old also claimed that \u201cshe didn\u2019t know [Epstein]\u201d before hanging up the phone.<\/p>\n
