Former Vice President Kamala Harris is leaving the door open to another run for the White House.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking with the National Action Network on Friday,\u00a0Kamala Harris<\/a>\u00a0revealed she is \u201cthinking about\u201d entering the 2028 presidential race, according to\u00a0UNILAD.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI might, I might. I\u2019m thinking about it,\u201d she said. \u201cI served for four years being a heartbeat away from the presidency of the United States \u2026 I know what the job is and I know what it requires.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her last run in 2024 ended in a victory for\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>. While Trump has hinted at the idea of running again, the 22nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution stops any president from serving more than two terms.<\/p>\n

2028 presidential election<\/h2>\n

Over the past year, Harris reportedly said she has spent time traveling across the country, including extended visits throughout the South, experiences that have shaped her perspective moving forward.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been traveling the country the last year, spending a lot of time in the south and many other places, and the one thing I\u2019m really clear about is \u2026 the status quo is not working and hasn\u2019t been working for a lot of people for a long time,\u201d Harris said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s got to be about the American people and that\u2019s how I think of it. I am thinking about it in the context of \u2026 who and where and how can the best job be done for the American people. I\u2019ll keep you posted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kamala Harris on Iran war<\/h2>\n

Her latest comments come shortly after she spoke out about the ongoing conflict involving Iran. In a statement shared on X, Harris said: \u201cLet me be clear: I am opposed to a regime-change war in Iran, and our troops are being put in harm\u2019s way for the sake of Trump\u2019s war of choice.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a dangerous and unnecessary gamble with American lives that also jeopardizes stability in the region and our standing in the world. What we are witnessing is not strength. It is recklessness dressed up as resolve.\u201d<\/p>\n
