An old interview with Anna Kendrick is making the rounds again after new allegations involving Katy Perry sparked fresh debate online.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During a 2014 appearance on Conan O\u2019Brien\u2019s talk show, actress Anna Kendrick recalled what she described as a \u201cweird\u201d encounter with Perry at the Grammys.<\/p>\n

The clip has resurfaced after Orange Is the New Black alum Ruby Rose accused Perry of inappropriate behavior during a night out in Melbourne when they were both in their 20s.<\/p>\n

\u201cKaty Perry<\/a>\u00a0finger b*nged my cleavage,\u201d the\u00a0actress<\/a>\u00a0told Conan O\u2019Brien, as the audience laughed.<\/p>\n

When O\u2019Brien asked if Perry \u201cjust does that,\u201d Kendrick replied that her outfit that night was \u201ckinda asking for it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf nobody had done it, I would\u2019ve been a little sad,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Brien then asked her to \u201cpaint the scene.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo you\u2019re standing still, and Katy Perry walks by and [he made a noise and moved his pointed index finger in a downward motion]?\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have met her before, and she\u2019s like\u2026 she\u2019s aggressive. I like it,\u201d Kendrick responded.<\/p>\n

One person\u00a0wrote<\/a>\u00a0as a response to the resurfaced video, \u201cWhere there\u2019s smoke there\u2019s fire.\u201d While another\u00a0wrote<\/a>, \u201cthey are close friends she IS JOKING.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some were disturbed by the resurfaced clip, one person\u00a0wrote<\/a>, \u201cShe is just\u2026 so\u2026 gross.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ruby Rose recently claimed she kept the alleged incident \u201ca secret\u201d because Perry had agreed to help her secure a U.S. visa. She also said she filed four separate police reports against different individuals, including Perry.<\/p>\n

In response, a representative for Perry issued a statement:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false; they are dangerous and reckless lies. Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rose later said she had finalized the reports and would not comment further, following instructions from authorities.<\/p>\n

As the situation unfolds, several older clips and claims involving Perry have resurfaced online.<\/p>\n

One widely shared video shows her grabbing Justin Bieber\u2019s backside at the 2012 Capital Summertime Ball.<\/p>\n

Actor Josh Kloss, who appeared in her Teenage Dream music video, also previously\u00a0accused<\/a>\u00a0Perry of misconduct, alleging she exposed him in front of others without consent. Separately, TV presenter Tina Kandelaki claimed Perry once tried to kiss her without consent at an event.<\/p>\n

In 2018, Perry also made headlines after kissing an American Idol contestant, Benjamin Glaze, on the lips without warning after he said he had never been kissed. Glaze later said he didn\u2019t consider it harassment, but admitted it made him uncomfortable.<\/p>\n
