Haunting audio has been released following the fatal shooting of a woman alleged to have kidnapped a child and attacked him with a knife outside a Walmart.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shocking reports\u00a0yesterday<\/a>\u00a0detailed how 31-year-old Noemi Guzman shoplifted the weapon from a Walmart in Omaha, Nebraska before targeting a three-year-old boy and his guardian inside the store.<\/p>\n

Security footage published by the Omaha Police Department shows the suspect forcing the three-year-old\u2019s guardian to walk ahead of a cart while the child is sitting in it.<\/p>\n

Guzman is then seen leading them out into the parking lot, with Deputy Chief Scott Gray revealing at a later press conference that she \u201ctook possession of the child, essentially kidnapping the child.\u201d<\/p>\n

Officers were called to the scene, where they confronted Guzman, ordering her to drop the knife after she brandished it.<\/p>\n

\u201cMs. Guzman was making multiple threats with the knife. Officers gave multiple verbal commands for Ms. Guzman to drop the knife. She refused to drop the weapon and cut the boy,\u201d the police explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe two patrol officers fired their service weapons striking Ms. Guzman. The child\u2019s guardian, along with a bystander, immediately removed the child from the cart and rendered aid to him. Officers began lifesaving measures on Ms. Guzman; however, she was pronounced dead at the scene.\u201d<\/p>\n

The woman who made the 911 call to the police has since been identified as Becky Bissell. She told\u00a0KETV<\/a>\u00a0that she was leaving Walmart when the child\u2019s guardian approached her.<\/p>\n

Bissell admitted to fearing she was about to be robbed, before realizing that the woman was crying. She immediately called the police.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter I called police, I could hear the suspect yelling at the victim. And the victim said, \u2018She wants your phone.\u2019 And then she said, \u2018She\u2019s cutting my son,’\u201d Bissell said. \u201cHe looked very scared.\u201d<\/p>\n
