As concerns grow over Donald Trump\u2019s health and safety, attention has turned to what would happen to Melania Trump if the elderly president were to die while still in power.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Donald Trump, who turns 80 in July, is among the oldest serving presidents in U.S. history, and recent appearances showing bruising on his hands and swelling in his legs have fueled ongoing discussion about his health.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe president underwent a comprehensive examination, including diagnostic vascular studies, bilateral lower extremity, venous doppler ultrasounds were performed and revealed chronic venous insufficiency\u2026a common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018Fear not!\u2019<\/h2>\n

Speculation about the president\u2019s wellbeing resurfaced again over Easter weekend, when online rumors suggested Trump had been admitted to Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.<\/p>\n
