Now, the president is making another move \u2013 and takes aim at Barack Obama.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0has once again drawn attention for a series of unusual social media posts, this time sharing a meme involving former president\u00a0Barack Obama<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The post comes during a week in which Trump has already been in the headlines for a public clash with Pope Leo XIV, whom he criticized as \u201cweak on crime\u201d and \u201cterrible on foreign policy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Pope<\/a>\u00a0later responded indirectly, suggesting some world leaders have \u201chands full of blood,\u201d before adding on April 13: \u201cI will not enter into debate. The things I say are not meant as attacks on anyone,\u201d and that he has \u201cno fear of the Trump Administration.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alongside this, Trump has also shared several controversial AI-generated images, including one\u00a0portraying himself as Jesus Christ<\/a>, something critics labeled \u201cblasphemy.\u201d<\/p>\n

He later defended the image, saying he believed it depicted him as a doctor.<\/p>\n

On his platform Truth Social, Trump reposted a meme showing him smiling while Obama looks away. The text on the image read: \u201cWhen you see the guy who said \u2018you\u2019ll never be President\u2019 at your inauguration.\u201d<\/p>\n

The original caption simply said: \u201cTwice,\u201d along with a U.S. flag emoji. The post, shared midweek, did not appear to directly respond to any recent remarks from Obama but still gained significant attention online.<\/p>\n

Many users criticized the post in the comments, with some calling it immature or unnecessary.<\/p>\n

One person wrote that Trump was being \u201cchildish,\u201d while another referenced a past moment between the two men: \u201cMan he roasted you at that White House dinner I mean to tell you he tore your a** up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Others questioned the accuracy of the claim, according to\u00a0VT<\/a>, with one user noting: \u201cNo. Obama publicly stated in 2016 that he believed Trump would not become president (I continue to believe that Mr. Trump will not be president), but he never said \u2018You\u2019ll never be president\u2019 to Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cThe saddest part about this is that Obama had more faith in the American people than we deserved.\u201d<\/p>\n

Came under heavy criticism<\/h2>\n

Some reactions were even more critical, including: \u201cTrump never has been president. I don\u2019t know what to call what he is doing, but it is far from presidential.\u201d<\/p>\n

And another wrote: \u201cUnfortunately, he (Obama) proved to be wrong about the general stupidity of Americans. Trump is a national disgrace and an international nightmare.\u201d<\/p>\n
