During a recent appearance on \u201cTomi Lahren\u00a0is Fearless,\u201d Jenner complained about how she can no longer use her passport thanks to\u00a0<a id=\"https:\/\/littlethings.com\/entertainment\/trump-doordash-grandma-trans-women\" href=\"https:\/\/littlethings.com\/entertainment\/trump-doordash-grandma-trans-women\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" type=\"link\">Trump\u2019s anti-trans<\/a>\u00a0executive order. After Trump signed the\u00a0<a id=\"https:\/\/littlethings.com\/entertainment\/doge-chatgpt-grants\" href=\"https:\/\/littlethings.com\/entertainment\/doge-chatgpt-grants\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" type=\"link\">executive order<\/a>\u00a0on January 20, 2025, Jenner had to renew her passport and received one with an M (male) sex marker.<\/p>\n<div data-stn-player=\"lna54ugu\"><\/div>\n<p>On a webpage dedicated to sex markers in passports, the U.S. Department of State explains that, because of the \u201cDefending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government\u201d executive order, the government will \u201conly issue a passport with an M or F sex marker that matches the customer\u2019s biological sex at birth.\u201d Jenner does not support this policy, but she has vocally supported Trump and continues to defend him.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"she-explained-the-situation-on-lahrens-podcast-view-this-post-on-instagram-a-post-shared-by-caitlyn-jenner-caitlynjennerjenner-emphasized-that-documentation-is-extr\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">She explained the situation on Lahren\u2019s podcast.<\/h2>\n<p><iframe id=\"instagram-embed-0\" class=\"instagram-media instagram-media-rendered\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DCC8k5hScoQ\/embed\/?cr=1&amp;v=14&amp;wp=675&amp;rd=https%3A%2F%2Flittlethings.com&amp;rp=%2Fentertainment%2Fcaitlyn-jenner-passport-trump%3Futm_term%3DAutofeed%26utm_type%3Dfacebook_comment%26utm_medium%3Dsm%26utm_content%3DLTcom_fbpage%26utm_source%3DFacebook%26fbclid%3DIwY2xjawRTbwFleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFMYXhrdm9#%7B%22ci%22%3A0%2C%22os%22%3A927%2C%22ls%22%3A119.70000004768372%2C%22le%22%3A862.8000000119209%7D\" height=\"746\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-instgrm-payload-id=\"instagram-media-payload-0\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Jenner emphasized that \u201cdocumentation is extremely important.\u201d She also implied that someone else might\u2019ve pushed Trump to move forward with this policy change. \u201cI love President Trump and I think he signed this executive order, she said. \u201cI don\u2019t know who underneath him was putting this thing together, that all federal documents, it has to be your biological sex at birth, OK?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When she went to renew her passport, she really felt the impact of what she voted for. Jenner told Lahren about trying to renew her passport and then trying to change the sex marker in her new passport book after she received it. \u201cRecently, I had my passport,\u201d she said. \u201cI had to get it renewed. I sent it back, comes back gender marker \u2018M.\u2019 Screws everything up.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"ad-article-1\" class=\"gam-injector__ad-container gam-injector__article-ad gam-injector__inline-ad\"><\/div>\n<p>Jenner said she \u201cdid everything\u201d to try to get it corrected afterwards, though she didn\u2019t call Trump directly. Instead, she tried to submit a form used to correct any mistakes that were made. \u201cThey sent it back and didn\u2019t change anything at all,\u201d she revealed. \u201cSo now I\u2019m in a position, Tomi, what do I do? This is a safety factor, OK? I can\u2019t travel internationally anymore, OK? I can\u2019t use my passport\u2026so it really creates a big problem.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, she didn\u2019t blame Trump for this policy change (even though he signed the executive order at the very beginning of his second term). \u201cI don\u2019t blame President Trump,\u201d she said. \u201cI love him. Again, she doesn\u2019t blame him for that, though. \u201cI have not talked to the president,\u201d Jenner explained. \u201cI wrote [to] him. I was in Mar-a-Lago two months ago, wrote a letter explaining all of this to him, how it\u2019s affecting me and a lot of other people\u2026 unfortunately he wasn\u2019t there that weekend\u2026I haven\u2019t heard from him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As she continued to talk about the issue, Jenner made it clear that she understands Trump has other things to worry about at the moment. \u201cHe\u2019s kind of busy right now,\u201d she said. \u201cMy gender marker is not big on the issue. OK. So I get that, and I\u2019m not blaming him whatsoever. I love the guy and I love what he\u2019s doing, but I\u2019m trying to figure out now, what is the next step to try to figure this out?\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"ad-article-3\" class=\"gam-injector__ad-container gam-injector__article-ad gam-injector__inline-ad\"><\/div>\n<p>She seemed confused by Trump\u2019s decision to sign the executive order. \u201cAs we know, even to vote now, you have to have proper identification, and I don\u2019t have that,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t know what\u2019s going to happen because I don\u2019t think this was really thought out, what this means.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">People are struggling to empathize with Jenner\u2019s situation.<\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/nhMb0JZ49Xc?si=2bMgzJMs_n1ALT52\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Of course, many people are concerned about how the Trump administration is impacting the trans community. However, the empathy that they feel does not extend to Jenner, given that she has voted for Trump and used her platform to support him.<\/p>\n<p>On YouTube, one person commented, \u201cWell, you keep loving your president. He doesn\u2019t care about YOU!\u201d Someone else wrote, \u201cSelf imposed Ignorance has consequences too. Enjoy what you voted for. It affects all of us.\u201d Several critics accused Jenner of not caring at all until the policies negatively affected her. \u201cYou were warned, but when it wasn\u2019t you, you really didn\u2019t give a s\u2014,\u201d a third commenter said.<\/p>\n<div id=\"ad-article-4\" class=\"gam-injector__ad-container gam-injector__article-ad gam-injector__inline-ad\"><\/div>\n<p>People also argued that Jenner isn\u2019t upset enough about it. \u201cIt would be great if she was far far more vocal about this bull\u2014- and went on every talk show bashing trump about it,\u201d one critic wrote on\u00a0<a id=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/askanything\/comments\/1spgc8x\/trumpendorser_caitlyn_jenner_can_no_longer_travel\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/askanything\/comments\/1spgc8x\/trumpendorser_caitlyn_jenner_can_no_longer_travel\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" type=\"link\">Reddit<\/a>. \u201cBut she\u2019s not. She\u2019s mildly annoyed by it.
