While football fans were anticipating a match between the Patriots and the Eagles, an adorable event was happening in the sidelines.<\/p>\n

All eyes may have been focused on Boston police officer Kim Tavares, who was invited to sing the national anthem, but a little boy in the bleachers caught the attention of the nation after a video of him went viral.<\/p>\n

Patriotic 3-year-old is Patriots fan<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In a video posted by\u00a0WBZ | CBS Boston<\/u>, we see young Garrett Spence belting his heart out as he sings the national anthem with conviction.<\/p>\n

The little patriot sang donning a Patriots jersey as he watched the game with his parents, who are also Boston police officers, in the Thursday night game.<\/p>\n

Garrett surely showed Americans how the national anthem ought to be sung: hand over the heart, standing tall, and heartfeltly belting out the lyrics.<\/p>\n

\u2018Partner in crime\u2019<\/strong><\/h2>\n

WIth his video having over six million views on Facebook alone, it didn\u2019t take too long before Garrett\u2019s voice was heard by Tavares.<\/p>\n

Tavares, who formally sang the anthem during the game, jokingly called the boy her \u2018partner in crime\u2019 as she reposted the video on her Twitter account.<\/p>\n

The police officer and part time singer also revealed that the little boy\u2019s parents are her colleagues at the Boston police department.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis mom and dad are friends of mine. \u201cBoth are police officers. Didn\u2019t know they were at the game\u201d<\/p>\n

Does Tavares\u2019 face or name sound familiar? Well, Garrett isn\u2019t the only Boston resident to go viral online<\/p>\n

Before she was invited to sing in the game, Tavares caught the attention of netizens when her rendition of \u2018God Bless America\u2019 together with her partner Officer Stephen Mcnulty during a \u2018cop-pool karaoke\u2019 went viral. She has some amazing vocal abilities that are not to be missed.<\/p>\n

Proud parents<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Of course, it isn\u2019t only Tavares who is proud of the boy\u2019s admirable sideline rendition of the national anthem.<\/p>\n

Garrett\u2019s parents agreed with their cop colleague and expressed how proud they are of their son\u2019s shining moment in an interview with Western Journal.<\/p>\n

The boy\u2019s father, police officer, Michael Spence, said he was \u201cobviously very proud of his patriotism.\u201d<\/p>\n
