For their performance, Brooks and Yearwood\u00a0delivered a tribute\u00a0to country music royalty:\u00a0George Jones\u00a0and\u00a0Tammy Wynette.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Brooks started off onstage by himself. He spoke about his respect for Jones, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201c\u2026who is the greatest singer in country music?\u2026for me, it is who it has always been, and who it will always be, George Jones.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"entered lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fcountryrebelclothing%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02cZkCJ2bG3efrXnLVfkkTmPtXZ3eyRMYVkN4zobSpD9ZmMQeXB3DwurDfohqKA4F5l&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"648\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-rocket-lazyload=\"fitvidscompatible\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fcountryrebelclothing%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02cZkCJ2bG3efrXnLVfkkTmPtXZ3eyRMYVkN4zobSpD9ZmMQeXB3DwurDfohqKA4F5l&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500\" data-ll-status=\"loaded\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\" data-origwidth=\"500\" data-origheight=\"648\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Brooks led the tribute with a cover of Jones\u2019\u00a0heart-tugging song, \u201cHe Stopped Loving Her Today.\u201d Then, Yearwood joined him onstage to deliver a spunky solo cover of Wynette\u2019s \u201cYour Good Girl\u2019s Gonna Go Bad.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Finally, Brooks and Yearwood united to sing one of Jones and Wynette\u2019s iconic duets, \u201cGolden Ring.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While the Opry and NBC have not shared a video of Brooks and Yearwood\u2019s performance online,\u00a0you still have a way to watch it.\u00a0The entire\u00a0<em>Opry 100<\/em>\u00a0special is available to stream on NBC\u2019s streaming service, Peacock.<\/p>\n<p>The program also features the finale performance of \u201cWill the Circle Be Unbroken?\u201d which\u00a0got cut off during the live broadcast.<\/p>\n<h3>Trisha Yearwood Wore Tammy Wynette\u2019s Necklace And Earrings Onstage For Her Performance<\/h3>\n<p>The day after\u00a0<em>Opry 100<\/em>, Yearwood reflected on the extraordinary night in a post she shared on Instagram.\u00a0<strong>She also revealed that she wore some of Wynette\u2019s jewelry during her performance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWe love honoring the country greats Wynette and Jones,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>Yearwood said<em>. \u201cLast night was special in so many ways, thank you @opry for letting me bring a piece of Tammy back to the stage for #Opry100, her necklace, her earrings, and most of all her music!\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ashley McBryde also got to wear some of Wynette\u2019s jewelry when she performed her own song, \u201cGirl Goin\u2019 Nowhere,\u201d\u00a0with Terri Clark on<em>\u00a0Opry 100<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Yearwood ended her post about\u00a0<em>Opry 100<\/em>\u00a0by writing:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThis family and the traditions are core to Country Music.
