Sherrone Moore\u2019s ex-assistant and mistress, Paige Shiver, tearfully revealed Friday that she lost the disgraced former Michigan University coach\u2019s baby due to a medical emergency.<\/p>\n

Shiver, 32, became pregnant during her years-long relationship with Moore, but despite wanting to keep it, was urged by doctors and Moore to end the pregnancy after she was diagnosed with Pompe Disease, a rare genetic disorder, she said in her first full sitdown interview about the ugly affair.<\/p>\n

\u201cMultiple doctors and experts told me that it wouldn\u2019t be right or healthy for me to keep the baby,\u201d Shiver told ABC News\u2019s \u201cGood Morning America\u201d while wiping away tears.<\/p>\n

\n<\/span>When she approached Moore about what to do about the baby, he told her, \u201cYou have to do what\u2019s right for your body,\u201d Shiver said. <\/p>\n

Shiver opened up about her tumultuous relationship with Moore and how it dramatically ended in December when he broke into her house and threatened to kill himself after she reported their affair to Michigan University officials.<\/p>\n

She admitted she had thought she was in love with Moore, who is married with three children, until hindsight showed her what it really was.<\/p>\n

\u201cI did [love him], but obviously looking back at things and really reflecting on what happened, what was happening \u2026 It\u2019s not love at all,\u201d she said, saying she feared for her life when he stormed in after she reported him.<\/p>\n

Moore, 40, was fired from his $5.5 million-a-year gig after just two seasons in December after Shiver, 32, turned in evidence of their affair to the school, with the school claiming he had an \u201cinappropriate relationship\u201d with a staffer.<\/p>\n

Hours after learning he was canned, Moore barged into Shiver\u2019s home, grabbed her butter knives and scissors, and threatened to kill himself.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll of a sudden I hear footsteps, and they\u2019re getting closer and louder \u2026 I run to my door to lock in, and he barges in,\u201d she recalled in her interview with GMA.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe said, \u2018You ruined my life. Why would you do this too?\u2019\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Shiver said she feared for her life when the 6\u20194\u2033 coach broke down in tears and threatened suicide.<\/p>\n

Moore, whom Shiver first met as an intern in 2022 when he was a Michigan assistant coach, was manipulative and had \u201ccomplete control\u201d over her emotions and her professional career, she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe knew that, and he used it, he used it against me,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time I tried to pull away, every time I tried to get out of even Michigan, he always had a story, always had a way to pull me in \u2026 in making me feel that I couldn\u2019t leave him because he was so miserable without me,\u201d she revealed.<\/p>\n

Moore faced up to five years in prison on home invasion and stalking charges.<\/p>\n

He pleaded down to the lesser crimes of malicious use of a telecommunications device and trespassing.<\/p>\n

He was sentenced to 18 months\u2019 probation last week and has been ordered not to contact Shiver.<\/p>\n

Shiver said she believes Moore should have gone to jail.<\/p>\n
