After becoming a mother at 47, Diaz stepped back from her career and later explained the decision in an interview with Hello Magazine.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt felt like the right thing for me to reclaim my own life, and I just really didn\u2019t care about anything else. Nobody\u2019s opinion, nobody\u2019s success, no one\u2019s offer, no one\u2019s anything could change my mind about my decision of taking care of myself and building the life that I really wanted to have. She added: \u201cThe only pressure for me now is I have to live to be, like, 107, you know? No pressure!\u201d<\/p>\n
