If you were to ask Daly\u2019s daughter, she\u2019d probably think it was less a festive pop-in and more of an attack from Easter Bunny Blake.<\/p>\n<p>Watch The Voice on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8\/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2022, the country superstar and former Coach of The Voice decided to get festive by dressing up as the Easter Bunny and showing up at Daly\u2019s home to surprise his longtime friend. A proud father of four, Daly\u2019s daughter, Goldie, was less than thrilled with the unexpected visit. Instead of delivering Easter cheer, Shelton\u2019s well-meant prank totally backfired in the funniest way. Daly shared the moment on social media, capturing the exact second his young daughter Goldie became terrified of the towering 6\u20195\u2033 bunny.<\/p>\n<p>While Bunny Shelton held Daly\u2019s daughter, Goldie turned to her father with utter horror. As Goldie burst into tears, Shelton beamed from bunny ear to bunny ear for the Easter snapshot, finding humor in the chaotic holiday moment. Photo: Getty Images<br \/>\nShelton\u2019s hysterical Easter pop-in joins a legion of cherished memories between the country star and Daly, who have been friends for many years thanks to their shared tenure on The Voice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCarson\u2019s a grumpy old man,\u201d Shelton teased with People in a January 2023 interview. \u201cHe truly is the grumpiest man on the planet, and I\u2019d say that if he were sitting right here next to me. He is just one of those guys where he\u2019s got a backache, or he\u2019s mad I\u2019m taking too long. For over 12 years I\u2019ve watched the cowboy do his thing on @nbcthevoice &#038; we have laughed &#038; had fun, literally the entire time. Thank you buddy! (Bring some ice over from your room, they never gave me any) #OneMoreShow,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The fuzzy feelings are mutual. Shelton told People, \u201c[Daly] is the glue of The Voice. I\u2019ve said that for years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rest assured, Shelton and Daly are forever friends. Not only did Daly officiate Gwen Stefani and Shelton\u2019s July 2021 wedding, but Shelton and Daly hosted their own show, Barmageddon, giving them ample time to catch up over bar games and drinks.
