The Canadian singer surprises passengers with a Jackson 5 song as he performs on a New York platform to promote his album.<\/p>\n

Michael Buble has surprised New York commuters with an a capella performance on the subway.<\/p>\n

The singer sang a rendition of the Jackson 5 classic Who\u2019s Lovin\u2019 You on the platform at the 66th Street Lincoln Centre station.<\/p>\n

He was joined by the group Naturally 7 on backing vocals as a small crowd looked on, many filming the event on their\u00a0smartphones.<\/p>\n

Buble hugged the group after the performance and said it was \u201cthe coolest thing ever\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cSinging in the New York subway is something that\u2019s been done for years and years and years, and I feel like it\u2019s the most authentic, organic way to make music.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou see some of the greatest musicians in the world come down here and play,\u201d said the 37-year-old Canadian.<\/p>\n

His new album, To Be Loved, came out on April 15 and he is now on a promotional tour for the record.<\/p>\n

\u201cOut of all the press I had to do, out of everything that I\u2019m gonna do \u2013\u00a0 Europe and America \u2013 this was the thing I was most excited about,\u201d said Buble.<\/p>\n

The singer\u2019s clean-cut image and traditional big band songs have seen him sell millions of albums around the world and pick up several Grammy awards.<\/p>\n

Buble also has a big following in the UK and is playing 10 dates at London\u2019s O2 Arena this summer.<\/p>\n

The crooner is not the only singer to take their musical talents onto public transport.<\/p>\n
