Anne Burrell\u2019s cold body was reportedly found on the shower floor by her husband hours after he had last seen her alive.<\/p>\n

The Food Network star\u2019s husband, Stuart Claxton, found Burrell unconscious in the bathroom early on the morning of Tuesday, June 17, law enforcement sources\u00a0told TMZ\u00a0on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Claxton had last seen his celebrity chef wife alive around 1 a.m., and he reportedly discovered her \u201cbetween six and seven hours later.\u201d<\/p>\n

Claxton had last seen Burrell alive around 1 a.m., and he reportedly discovered her \u201cbetween six and seven hours later.\u201dZuma\u00a0<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

After calling 911, Claxton was allegedly advised to begin performing CPR on Burrell. She was\u00a0pronounced dead at the scene\u00a0once emergency services arrived at around 7:50 a.m.<\/p>\n

Burrell\u2019s loved ones\u00a0announced her shocking passing\u00a0on Tuesday. She was 55.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnne was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, stepmother and friend \u2013 her smile lit up every room she entered,\u201d they said in a statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnne\u2019s light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world,\u201d her family added. \u201cThough she is no longer with us, her warmth, spirit and boundless love remain eternal.\u201d<\/p>\n

The New York City Police Department later confirmed that\u00a0Burrell\u00a0was found \u201cunconscious and unresponsive\u201d\u00a0at her Brooklyn home on Tuesday morning and pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
