LESS than a year ago, Sydnie Christmas was ready to give up on her dream of making it in music after setbacks caused her to fall out of love with the industry.<\/p>\n

But a final throw of the dice in applying for Britain\u2019s Got Talent saw her fortunes finally change \u2013 with the singer crowned champion of the ITV show earlier this summer.<\/p>\n

Sydnie Christmas performed at the Hollywood Bowl for music legend David Foster\u2019s birthday<\/p>\n

Since then\u00a0work has been coming thick and fast.<\/p>\n

And her latest offer appears to have fallen straight out of a Hollywood film script.<\/p>\n

Over the weekend\u00a0Sydnie took to the stage at the Hollywood Bowl\u00a0in Los Angeles to perform as part of music legend\u00a0David Foster\u2019s 75th birthday bash.<\/p>\n

David, who has won a staggering 16 Grammys during his career, first discovered Sydnie after her manager, Professor\u00a0Jonathan\u00a0Shalit OBE, sent him a clip of her on BGT shortly after she won the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I walked into rehearsals and heard Jennifer I thought it was a C, then I saw her, someone I\u2019ve idolised during my career, and I cried,\u201d\u00a0Sydnie\u00a0tells Bizarre\u2019s Jack Hardwick backstage.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was going to call it quits.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d applied for BGT four times, but each time I would pull out of the process.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was my last chance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was falling out of love with the industry.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow I\u2019m here, it\u2019s remarkable.\u201d<\/p>\n

During her trip to LA, Sydnie has hit the ground running \u2013 squeezing in everything from shooting a music video with The Greatest Showman\u2019s Loren Allred, to a glamorous dinner with BGT judges\u00a0Amanda Holden\u00a0and\u00a0Bruno Tonioli\u00a0in West Hollywood.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s all before she took to the stage at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

Sydnie adds: \u201cAmanda is so lovely to me.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is only a message away if I ever need her.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the same with Bruno.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey both just want me to do well.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey want what\u2019s best.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s lovely to have people believe in you like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

As she hangs out with me over the weekend, it\u2019s clear to see Sydnie is laser focused on her career.<\/p>\n

As we kill time in her dressing room, I can\u2019t resist a glass or two of the free flowing white wine.<\/p>\n

Sydnie on the other hand sticks to water and tea, including Twinning\u2019s calming Camomile for her nerves.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will not drink until after the Hollywood Bowl performance and hopefully I\u2019ll be celebrating,\u201d Sydnie laughs.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe one person I need to really impress is myself as I can be so nervous for one but also I can be so critical of myself.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to take all of this in.<\/p>\n
