Dignified and classy,\u201d commented one fan on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>Echoing that sentiment, another Instagram user declared, \u201cGod Bless Vince and Amy!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The couple\u00a0officially met\u00a0in December 1993, when Grant joined Gill onstage during his \u201cChristmas With Vince Gill\u201d holiday event in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Although both married to other people at the time, they confirmed their relationship in 1999 after their respective first marriages ended. Currently embarking on a 30-city summer tour, the \u201cOne More Last Chance\u201d crooner, 68, says he has written roughly 150 songs during \u201cthe past three or four years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I\u2019m not sure how we\u2019re going to release them,\u201d Gill\u00a0told the\u00a0<em>Chicago Sun-Times<\/em>\u00a0in May 2025. \u201cMaybe as one EP a month.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Far from going stale after nearly five decades, the 18-time CMA Award winner believes he is at the top of his game when it comes to \u201cwriting songs, singing songs and playing songs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd it all means more now,\u201d Gill said. \u201cEvery word is important. I edit and I edit and I edit.
