make up the musical duo 2Fold, were casually performing at the Auckland Fish Market when a man enthusiastically applauded before running up to them. The \u2018Haven\u2019t Met You Yet\u2019 singer praised the duo immensely before inviting them to be in his TikTok video.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-paragraph-sm\/normal md:text-paragraph-md\/normal font-normal mb-4 min-h-2\">\u201cHe was recording on his phone and looking at us and pointing his phone at us and then he sort of came over with his wife,\u201d Vanessa recalled.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-paragraph-sm\/normal md:text-paragraph-md\/normal font-normal mb-4 min-h-2\">\u201cHe said: \u2018Look I\u2019m doing a TikTok, you guys are absolutely fantastic, would be keen to be in my TikTok?\u2019. After the Canadian singer ensured he could get Vanessa the tickets she didn\u2019t have, the plan went full steam ahead.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-paragraph-sm\/normal md:text-paragraph-md\/normal font-normal mb-4 min-h-2\">Once the night rolled around and 2Fold were sitting up front at the concert, there was a bit of planning before the big moment. Eventually, the man himself called out their names. During her performance in front of thousands, Vanessa said she was cool as a cucumber<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-paragraph-sm\/normal md:text-paragraph-md\/normal font-normal mb-4 min-h-2\">\u201cI didn\u2019t actually feel nervous. I just felt really comfortable and confident and buzzing, just really buzzing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-paragraph-sm\/normal md:text-paragraph-md\/normal font-normal mb-4 min-h-2\">Vanessa says she\u2019s already had a \u201cmental\u201d amount of people enquiring about her and Johnny\u2019s music. She then shared a bit of advice from someone who\u2019s been performing for twenty-plus years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-paragraph-sm\/normal md:text-paragraph-md\/normal font-normal mb-4 min-h-2\">\u201cWe just love what we do. I woke up at 3 this morning and thought about how people say: \u2018Sing like nobody\u2019s watching\u2019.
