In 2019, Post released his third studio album,\u00a0<em>Hollywood\u2019s Bleeding<\/em>, labeled a rap, pop, and hip-hop project.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-4\"><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/countryrebel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/post-malone-meeting-ozzy.png\" alt=\"Post Malone and Ozzy Osbourne backstage at the American Music Awards in 2019\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The record won an American Music Award for Favorite Album \u2013 Rap\/Hip-Hop and the Billboard Music Award for Top Rap Album. Additionally, it received a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-5\"><\/div>\n<p><strong><em>Hollywood\u2019s Bleeding<\/em>\u00a0featured several collaborators, including Ozzy, who contributed to track #9, \u201cTake What You Want.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>The song also featured rapper Travis Scott.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTake What You Want\u201d was released as the sixth single from\u00a0<em>Hollywood\u2019s Bleeding<\/em>. The song peaked at #8 on the all-genre\u00a0<em>Billboard Hot 100<\/em>\u00a0chart. He said he was more nervous to meet him behind-the-scenes than he was to sing with him onstage.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201c<em>I was nervous meeting him,<\/em>\u201d he admitted. \u201c<em>Not as much performing\u2026meeting him is terrifying. Because, you know, what the f*** do you say to Ozzy Osbourne? You know? \u2018I like your pants.\u2019 I don\u2019t know. You have no idea what the f*** to say to him<\/em>.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Post was also in disbelief that he got to record a song with Ozzy in the first place.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cIt\u2019s mind-blowing, it\u2019s absolutely f****** mind-blowing\u2026being able to work with one of the biggest dudes in f****** rock and roll history.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A clip of Post talking about his first meeting with Ozzy resurfaced after the rock and roll legend\u00a0passed away\u00a0on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76.\u00a0<strong>You can watch that video below.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ozzy\u2019s family confirmed the news of his death in an\u00a0emotional statement, writing, \u201c<em>It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.
