The \u201cQueen Of Country\u201d Bids Farewell To The \u201cPrince Of Darkness\u201d<\/h2>\n

On July 5, a daylong farewell celebration for Ozzy Osbourne and the founding lineup of his seminal heavy metal band Black Sabbath was held at Birmingham\u2019s Villa Park stadium in England.<\/p>\n

Dubbed the \u201cBack To The Beginning\u201d show, the event saw the likes of Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine perform Led Zeppelin\u2019s \u201cWhole Lotta Love,\u201d and many bands \u2014 such as Korn, Lamb Of God, and Metallica \u2014 pay tribute to Black Sabbath and its original frontman, Ozzy.<\/p>\n

The event also saw some unique farewell messages, including one from the \u201cQueen of Country,\u201d\u00a0Dolly Parton.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, Ozzy Osbourne, it\u2019s Dolly Parton here,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>Dolly began in her typical manner, as seen in an exclusive\u00a0Rolling Stone<\/em>\u00a0video.\u00a0\u201cNow, I know you\u2019re at home, and what a wonderful place to be, right? Now, are we supposed to be saying, \u2018Farewell,\u2019 to you? Well, I don\u2019t think that\u2019s gonna happen. How about we just say, \u2018Good luck, God bless you, and we will see you somewhere down the road.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Dolly, who is only three years older than Ozzy, concluded her message, saying,\u00a0\u201cAnyway, I love you \u2014 always have \u2014 and we\u2019re gonna miss you up on stage, but you know what? I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if you don\u2019t show up somewhere else, and I\u2019ll be there. Love you!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
