Jelly Roll Enters Crowd To Celebrate A Fan\u2019s Sobriety<\/h2>\n

Jelly Roll recently paused mid-concert to make sure a fan got the recognition he deserved for his sobriety journey.<\/p>\n

The moment took place in Canada, where Jelly Roll was performing at the Lasso Montreal country music festival.<\/p>\n

At one point, while on stage, the singer noticed a young girl holding up a sign. When the Jumbotron zoomed in, it showed the message\u00a0\u201cMY DAD HAS BEEN SOBER FOR 1384 DAYS.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

He then asked the girl if her dad was at the concert.\u00a0A man, who looked teary-eyed, raised his hand to show he was there.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jelly Roll has been very open about\u00a0his own struggles\u00a0with drug and alcohol abuse when he was younger, so when he saw someone who had stayed sober for so long, he made sure to take a moment to celebrate them.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s when Jelly said,\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m gonna come see this man right here,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0as he headed to the side of the stage they were near.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, what a proud daughter, man. That\u2019s a daddy-daughter moment I dream of right there,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The \u201cSave Me\u201d singer then did something nobody had expected.<\/strong>\u00a0He walked off the stage and into the crowd, heading straight for the man.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never do this, but this is just awesome,\u201d he exclaimed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Once he reached him, Jell Roll had the man introduce himself. The concertgoer, named Mike, was then pulled into a big hug by the Grammy-nominated artist before he led the crowd into a chant of Mike\u2019s name.<\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t stop there, though.\u00a0Before parting ways, Jelly Roll celebrated Mike\u2019s sobriety even more by singing a song he hadn\u2019t planned to perform that night, just to honor him.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have a song about anybody being 1,384 days sober, but I have wrote a song about somebody experiencing their very first day sober and I wanna sing that for you tonight. So we can celebrate you\u2026 all 30,000 of us!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Jelly Roll walked back on stage and began singing a song from his\u00a0Beautifully Broken<\/em>\u00a0album titled \u201cWinning Streak.\u201d<\/p>\n
