    Jonathan Jackson\u2019s General Hospital<\/em>\u00a0performance has scored him another Emmy.<\/p>\n

    The soap actor, 43, took home the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Daytime Drama Series award at the 2025 Daytime Emmy Awards in Pasadena, California on Friday, Oct. 17.<\/p>\n

    While accepting the trophy for his work as Lucky Spencer, Jackson quoted author Fyodor Dostoevsky: \u201cBeauty will save the world.\u201d He then recognized his wife, Elisa, and three children: Caleb, Adora and Titus.<\/p>\n

    \u201cI have so many people to thank: my parents, my family,\u201d Jackson said. \u201cAnyone who has ever said a prayer for me, been there for me in dark times.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Jackson continued his speech by saluting a few fellow actors, including\u00a0General Hospital<\/em>\u00a0star\u00a0Genie Francis. \u201cI owe you a debt of love that I will never be able to repay,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

    Before Friday, Jackson had already won five Daytime Emmys over the years for his portrayal of Lucky. He has appeared in the role off and on since 1993. He officially rejoined in August 2024, but announced\u00a0he was exiting the soap again\u00a0in June to be with his family in Tennessee.<\/p>\n

    Over the summer, Jackson told\u00a0TV Insider\u00a0that he\u2019ll always treasure his time in Port Charles, the fictional city where the soap opera is set, although \u201cit\u2019s always a bit overwhelming\u201d to return. \u201cThere aren\u2019t that many situations in life that you get to go and enter into this world where a lot has changed and a lot has stayed the same,\u201d he said, noting the \u201camazing connections\u201d he has with many of the crew and those who work on the show.<\/p>\n

    Jackson added, \u201cAnd then on top of that, you have the character you\u2019re playing that has this history, and you get to work with so many people again.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Nominees for the category also included Blake Berris as Everett Lynch on\u00a0<\/strong>Days of Our Lives<\/em>, Gregory Harrison as Gregory Chase on\u00a0General Hospital,\u00a0<\/em>Michael Graziadei\u00a0as Daniel Romalotti on\u00a0The Young and the Restless<\/em>\u00a0and Tajh Bellow as TJ Ashford on\u00a0General Hospital<\/em>.<\/p>\n

    This was Berris\u2019 second nomination for a Daytime Emmy, 16 years after he was up for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series in 2009 for a different role also in\u00a0Days of Our Lives.\u00a0<\/em>He played Nick Fallon from 2006-2009 and again from 2012 until the character was killed off in 2014.<\/p>\n

    He later returned to the popular soap as his current character, Everett Lynch, a journalist with dissociative identity disorder and a sinister alter ego.<\/p>\n

    Harrison\u2019s nomination came after his time on\u00a0General Hospital\u00a0<\/em>concluded in 2024. It marks the 75-year-old\u2019s first Emmy recognition for a soap opera role, in which he portrayed Gregory Chase, a man who suffered from ALS.<\/p>\n

    He opened up about the nomination in a recent interview with\u00a0Soap Opera Digest,\u00a0<\/em>saying he was proud to be able to honor the character.<\/p>\n

    \u201cI don\u2019t think of acting as a competitive sport,\u201d Harrison noted. \u201cI never paid much attention to nominations or lack of them. I\u2019m a process-oriented guy. I don\u2019t do things in the hopes of a result as much as I love the process of every job I\u2019ve had. I love Hollywood, I love show business, I love acting \u2014 but I love the day to day. I love developing characters. I guess there\u2019s some validation in [this nomination], but I don\u2019t do it for the validation. I do it because it\u2019s so much fun for me!\u201d<\/p>\n

    Graziadei, 46, is known for playing Daniel Romalotti in\u00a0The Young and the Restless.\u00a0<\/em>He has been nominated twice before in the Younger Actor category in 2005 and 2006, and has held the role since 2004 with one brief hiatus.<\/p>\n

    He recently told\u00a0Soap Opera Digest<\/em>\u00a0that the nomination has a special meaning for him all these years later. \u201cThis is the first one that\u2026 I\u2019m not trying to take anything away from the other nominations, but this is the first one that kind of feels real,\u201d Graziadei shared. \u201cI know I\u2019m in with some heavy hitters.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Fellow nominee Bellow, 30, is the third actor to play TJ Ashford on\u00a0General Hospital,\u00a0<\/em>although he has not appeared on the soap opera since December 2024. After receiving his nomination over the summer, he expressed his gratitude for all the support in a sweet\u00a0Instagram\u00a0video, although he didn\u2019t say if he would be returning to the show.<\/p>\n

    A month prior, he shared a reaction\u00a0post\u00a0with another message for fans.<\/p>\n
