Las Vegas may prove to be a dangerous place for Jason Derulo and Michael Bubl\u00e9.<\/p>\n

The two musicians released the music video for their collaboration \u201cSpicy Margarita\u201d on Monday, April 8, and the clip imagines Derulo as a maintenance worker for a raucous Las Vegas show featuring Bubl\u00e9 that could turn into a crime scene at any moment.<\/p>\n

The music video opens at the box office for the Voltaire nightclub at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, a.k.a the venue of Derulo\u2019s upcoming residency launching May 17.<\/p>\n

Instead of performing, however, the \u201cTalk Dirty\u201d singer is vacuuming as Bubl\u00e9 approaches with an entourage. \u201cGet the door, kid,\u201d the crooner says condescendingly. \u201cStill trying to be a dancer? Why don\u2019t you show us some of your moves?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThose days are long gone, man,\u201d responds Derulo. \u201cI\u2019m just working now. Right this way.\u201d<\/p>\n

The clip then cuts to backstage at Voltaire, where Derulo continues cleaning \u2014 before changing into a suit from a costume rack and heading into the venue, where Bubl\u00e9 begins singing \u201cSpicy Margarita.\u201d<\/p>\n

As audience members sip on spicy margaritas made with cucumber-and-jalape\u00f1o-flavored 1800 tequila, a spotlight shines on Derulo, who joins in on performing the song while executing high-energy choreography alongside several dancers.<\/p>\n

At one point, Derulo is flirtatiously approached by a woman who distracts him and sneakily steals his venue keys. She\u2019s then seen carrying a suspicious box, as a man walks around with a knife and cuts another woman\u2019s top off.<\/p>\n

The \u201cSpicy Margarita\u201d performance carries on, and the video then ends with text on the screen teasing a \u201cPart II\u201d continuation called \u201cMad Love\u201d to come.<\/p>\n

Bubl\u00e9\u00a0spoke\u00a0about the collaboration in February. \u201cA hit song with Jason Derulo and Michael Bubl\u00e9 was probably not on most people\u2019s 2024 bingo cards,\u201d he said at the time. But I love that both of us are doing something that was this unexpected and still it resonates.\u201d<\/p>\n

While \u201cSpicy Margarita\u201d may seem like an unexpected pairing of artists, it\u2019s been a long time coming for both singers. \u201cJason and I have been friends since 2013, so there was always hope that we\u2019d work together,\u201d said Bubl\u00e9. \u201cWe always dug each other\u2019s music, but there was never a reason \u2014 there was never anything that seemed to work like this.\u201d<\/p>\n
