The tribute honors the Canadian\u2019s accomplishments in the music industry. Per\u00a0Britannica, Murray \u201cwas the first female Canadian solo artist to reach number one on\u00a0music\u00a0charts in the\u00a0United States\u00a0and the first woman solo artist and Canadian singer to win Album of the Year (A Little Good News<\/em>, 1984) at the Country Music Association Awards.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cImagine my surprise and delight,\u201d\u00a0Murray said in a statement shared to her website,\u00a0\u201cwhen a young fan, who first saw me perform in Las Vegas, years ago, when he was 15, told me that he had discovered several songs that had never been released\u2026 songs that didn\u2019t make the cut between the years 1978 and 1995. Here are a few of them.\u201d<\/p>\n
