They say in the old cowboy films: \u2018This town ain\u2019t big enough for the both of us.\u2019<\/p>\n

But that\u2019s not the case for divorcing couple\u00a0Nicole Kidman<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Keith Urban<\/span>, who have both put down deep roots in Nashville,\u00a0Tennessee<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Neither, it seems, will budge.<\/p>\n

Country star Urban, 58, lived there first \u2013 it\u2019s the home of country music after all.<\/p>\n

Actress Kidman, also 58, moved in with him when they got married in 2006, and two years later they moved to a magnificent whopper of a house in a gated community called Northumberland, where they raised their two children Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14.<\/p>\n

Following their separation in September, Kidman has stayed in that house, while Urban has moved into temporary digs which are apparently \u2018very nearby\u2019.<\/p>\n

Following their separation in September, Kidman has stayed in the family home, while Urban has moved into temporary digs which are apparently \u2018very nearby\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

They have both been spotted since \u2013 separately \u2013 at the same Whole Foods store in the Nashville suburb Franklin.<\/p>\n

A local source tells me they both still go to the same hairdresser, too. Ashley Wahler is responsible for Keith\u2019s (in)famous highlights and for Nicole\u2019s strawberry blonde hair.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not clear whether they both also still attend the same local church where they used to worship.<\/p>\n

They are sharing time with their children, who continue at the same school in Nashville.<\/p>\n

As per a custody agreement which was signed by Urban in August this year, Kidman gets 306 days of the year with the children and he gets them for just 59, including Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n

His mandated time with the girls is from 10am on a Saturday to 6pm on a Sunday every other weekend. Over the past few weeks, Urban has been to Palm Beach in Florida, to perform at a charity event at President Donald Trump\u2019s Mar-A-Lago resort, and also popped up in Fort Worth, Texas.<\/p>\n

Last week he was on stage at the Country Music Awards in Nashville.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s split emerged earlier this year, with Kidman filing for divorce on September 30, citing irreconcilable differences.<\/p>\n

The custody agreement said that Urban had \u2018pre paid\u2019 all his financial obligations towards the children, and all matters seemed to be swiftly settled.<\/p>\n

Of course, normal couples might expect to \u2018share out\u2019 their friends and hope they don\u2019t bump into each other in the street. Friends of Kidman confirm she isn\u2019t upping sticks any time soon and remains very committed to her life in Nashville where her social circle includes the actress Reese Witherspoon.<\/p>\n

In spring next year Kidman will start filming a new series of Scarpetta \u2013 the drama based on Patrica Cornwell\u2019s novels featuring pathologist Dr Kay Scarpetta. The first series has already been made and will be out on in March next year, also starring Jamie Lee Curtis as Scarpetta\u2019s sister, Dorothy.<\/p>\n

Kidman and Urban were married in June 2006 and were last seen together in June this year. Not long after, fans began to notice subtle changes in their behaviour: though Urban previously referred to his wife as \u2018babygirl\u2019, for example, and spoke about her frequently, he stopped mentioning Kidman at all while on tour over the summer.<\/p>\n

When news of the split finally emerged, one source told People magazine: \u2018Nicole\u2019s hurt and feels betrayed. It\u2019s devastating to her. She\u2019s shocked.\u2019 The insider also claimed that Nicole \u2018didn\u2019t want this and has been fighting to save the marriage.\u2019<\/p>\n

TMZ \u2013 which broke the story of their separation \u2013 went further, with a Kidman source saying: \u2018All the signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman.<\/p>\n

\u2018Let\u2019s just say, Nicole doesn\u2019t dispute that. But she\u2019s still shocked over it.\u2019<\/p>\n

Kidman\u2019s team declined to comment on the rumours, as did Urban\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Gossip linked him briefly with singer Maggie Baugh, who he has duetted with on tour. However country singer Alexandra Kay said: \u2018I know that\u2019s absolutely not true. Honestly I was heartbroken for them because the media scrutiny is insane and the things that people say. I\u2019ve met her boyfriend. She\u2019s very happy.\u2019<\/p>\n

A photo posted on Instagram on July 16 this year, meanwhile, shows them with their arms around each other, heads resting on each other\u2019s shoulders. \u2018Somebody pinch me,\u2019 writes Scott Collins. \u2018I feel like I\u2019m dreamin\u2019.\u2019<\/p>\n

Since the split, Urban has appeared in a TV talent show, The Road, for CBS. He is also fronting a \u2018Castin\u2019 the Cowboy\u2019 campaign for Mexican food makers Old El Paso, in which he helped choose a new \u2018singing cowboy\u2019 mascot to represent the brand.<\/p>\n
