Lainey Wilson Celebrates Thanksgiving In New York City<\/h2>\n

One week after being named the\u00a0CMA\u2019s Entertainer of the Year\u00a0for 2025,\u00a0Lainey Wilson\u00a0flew to New York City to perform during Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade.<\/p>\n

The beloved parade, celebrating its 99th anniversary this year, aired live on NBC at 8:30 AM.<\/strong>\u00a0Spectators along the parade route were treated to performances from artists such as Cynthia Erivo, Mickey Guyton, Colbie Caillat, Russell Dickerson, Christopher Jackson, Foreigner, and, of course, Wilson.<\/p>\n

Wilson delivered her festive performance near the end of the parade, right before Santa\u2019s grand entrance, while standing in front of Macy\u2019s flagship store in Herald Square.<\/p>\n

She wore a red, fluffy coat over a longer black jacket with gold embellishments. She accented her look with gold earrings, black fringed gloves, and a plain black cowboy hat.<\/p>\n

Wilson performed two songs, opening with her dreamy, Grammy-nominated hit,\u00a0\u201cSomewhere Over Laredo.\u201d\u00a0Then, she delivered a dazzling holiday rendition of her song \u201cPeace, Love, and Cowboys.\u201d<\/p>\n
