Kelly Clarkson is giving her fans a special gift this Christmas.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, December 11, it was announced that she will be the opening performer for Netflix\u2019s NFL Christmas Football Game Day.<\/p>\n

Clarkson will perform her hit holiday song \u201cUnderneath the Tree\u201d live on December 25, just before the two NFL games air exclusively on the streaming service.<\/p>\n

Viewers tuning in will first see the\u00a0Dallas Cowboys\u00a0<\/strong>take on the\u00a0Washington Commanders<\/strong>. Following that will be the\u00a0Detroit Lions\u00a0<\/strong>facing off against theMinnesota Vikings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After the news was shared, Clarkson posted a video on social media letting fans know how excited she is. She even made it very clear what team she\u2019s going to be rooting for on the sidelines.<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, so for Christmas this year, I\u2019m very stoked,\u201d she began. \u201cI was asked by Netflix to do the show open for the football games on Christmas Day. There\u2019s two of them. There\u2019s one that matters. It\u2019s where the Cowboys are playing\u2026and then there\u2019s another one,\u201d she joked.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
