Adam Lambert and Queen were performing at Rock In Rio in 2015 when Freddie Mercury joined them on stage for a staggering duet of his most famous hit \u2018Bohemian Rhapsody\u2019.<\/p>\n

Freddie Mercury may be gone but he is certainly not forgotten.<\/p>\n

The former\u00a0Queen\u00a0frontman, who died in 1991, gave a stunning performance when he joined his ex-bandmates and\u00a0Adam Lambert\u00a0on stage in 2015.<\/p>\n

Queen\u00a0and their new lead singer\u00a0Adam Lambert\u00a0were performing at the annual music festival in Brazil,\u00a0Rock In Rio<\/em>, when they launched into\u00a0Freddie Mercury\u2019s most famous song, \u2018Bohemian Rhapsody\u2019.<\/p>\n

Queen and Freddie Mercury then proceeded to sing the song together \u2013 performing it over three decades apart.<\/p>\n

Brian May\u00a0gave a beautiful guitar solo and was then joined by footage of\u00a0Roger Taylor,\u00a0John Deacon\u00a0and\u00a0Freddie Mercury\u00a0singing \u2018Bohemian Rhapsody\u2019 from the song\u2019s official 1975 music video.<\/p>\n

The performance then culminated in\u00a0Adam Lambert\u00a0taking over on lead vocals as Queen continued to rock the stadium in Brazil.<\/p>\n

Adam Lambert has a long held association with \u2018Bohemian Rhapsody\u2019, famously\u00a0singing the song when he was an unknown auditionee\u00a0on\u00a0American Idol,<\/em>\u00a0just six years earlier in 2009.<\/p>\n

After singing a flawless acapella version of\u00a0Freddie Mercury\u2019s famous \u2018Bohemian Rhapsody\u2019 during the audition in Los Angeles, the judges were quick to evaluate the 27-year-old Adam Lambert\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n

Simon Cowell,\u00a0Randy Jackson,\u00a0Paula Abdul, and Kara DioGuardi proceeded to argue over the young performers vocals, with Simon calling his performance \u201ctoo theatrical\u201d, before eventually \u2013 and after much debate \u2013\u00a0agreeing to put him through.<\/p>\n
