(NewsNation) \u2014 The son of a singer, who performed in a\u00a0Neil Diamond\u00a0tribute band, has called out actors Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman for damaging his dad\u2019s \u201clegacy\u201d in their new film.<\/p>\n

Jackman and Hudson portray real-life husband and wife, Mike and Claire Sardina, in \u201cSong Sung Blue.\u201d The couple created the band Lightning and Thunder in the 1990s.<\/p>\n

Michael \u201cMike\u201d Sardina Jr., 41, son of Sardinia Sr., told the\u00a0Daily Mail\u00a0he is considering suing the production company behind the movie, along with Focus Features and NBCUniversal.<\/p>\n

He alleges they \u201ccompletely destroyed the one thing my father worked his entire life to pass on \u2014 his legacy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy father\u2019s rolling in his grave right now,\u201d Sardina Jr. said.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody thinks it\u2019s such a wonderful film, it\u2019s so touching. It\u2019s all lies,\u201d Sardinia Jr. said. \u201cAnd it steals all the hard work that my father put in his entire life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sardina Jr., who is Mike Sardina Sr.\u2019s son from his second marriage, said \u201cSong Sung Blue\u201d \u201cpurposely\u201d left him out of the movie.<\/p>\n

Michael \u201cMike\u201d Sardina Jr. said that Hudson and Jackman are \u201cmonsters\u201d for not mentioning him while they were promoting the movie.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery interview that those monsters have been on national television don\u2019t even mention my existence at all, even though I was the most prevalent force in my father\u2019s life, even when I wasn\u2019t in Wisconsin, because I\u2019m his only son,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
