Hoda Kotb\u00a0will continue to co-anchor the\u00a0Today<\/em>\u00a0show as the search for\u00a0Savannah Guthrie\u2019s missing mother,\u00a0Nancy Guthrie, continues, PEOPLE can confirm.<\/p>\n

Kotb, 61,\u00a0has been co-anchoring\u00a0Today<\/em>\u00a0with\u00a0Craig Melvin\u00a0since Feb. 6. She\u00a0left the show full-time\u00a0in January 2025, and although she has made sporadic appearances since then, this is her first extended return to the morning news show. Kotb and Melvin, 46,\u00a0were scheduled to travel to Milan, Italy, to join NBC\u2019s 2026 Winter Olympics coverage,\u00a0but canceled those plans\u00a0amid the search for Nancy.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know what, Craig? We always talk about our show as a family. We are a family,\u201d Kotb said on the Monday, Feb. 9 broadcast. \u201cI\u2019m part of the family. I\u2019m happy to be with you because we show up for each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Today<\/em>\u00a0show team put\u00a0yellow ribbons and flowers around Studio 1A, after\u00a0Arizona residents did the same\u00a0in Nancy\u2019s neighborhood. Kotb, Melvin, and other\u00a0Today<\/em>\u00a0talent have also worn yellow ribbons.<\/p>\n

Nancy, 84,\u00a0was last seen alive\u00a0on Jan. 31 after having dinner with family. She was\u00a0reported missing\u00a0on Feb. 1 after she failed to attend a virtual church service at a friend\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

Savannah, 54, later flew to Tucson, Ariz., to join her siblings, Annie Guthrie and Camron Guthrie. In her most recent Instagram video, published on Tuesday, Feb. 24, Savannah said the family continues to hope for Nancy\u2019s recovery, adding that her family has been \u201cfearing for her and aching for her and most of all just missing her<\/p>\n

However, Savannah added that her family understands that Nancy may have died, explaining, \u201cWe also know that she may be lost, she may already be gone. She may already have gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in Heaven\u2026 and if this is what is to be, then we will accept it. But we need to know where she is. We need her to come home.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the video, Savannah announced that her family is\u00a0offering a reward of up to $1 million\u00a0for any information that could lead to Nancy\u2019s recovery. The family is also donating $500,000 to the\u00a0National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.<\/p>\n

The FBI also has an active $100,000 reward for information that could lead to Nancy\u2019s recovery.<\/p>\n

Although officials have released\u00a0images of a masked intruder outside Nancy\u2019s home, a suspect has not been identified. On Sunday, Feb. 22,\u00a0Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos\u00a0explained to the\u00a0Daily Mail<\/em>\u00a0why he believes she was kidnapped instead of being the victim of a robbery gone wrong.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is somebody who\u2019s disappeared from the face of the earth, and now we have a camera that says here\u2019s the person who did this,\u201d Nanos said, referring to the images of a masked intruder.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that\u2019s what makes me say this is a kidnapping,\u201d Nanos continued. \u201cThe motivation for it is where we get stuck, right? Is it for money? I mean, we had the one demand where they asked for money. But is it really for money, or is it for revenge for something?\u201d<\/p>\n
