Although Corey never actually left\u00a0Pawn Stars<\/em>\u00a0during its 23-season run, he made it clear that he has no intentions to return if the show comes back in some form.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this stage of the game, we\u2019re all playing a character on\u00a0Pawn Stars<\/em>,\u201d he told the\u00a0Las Vegas Review\u00a0in February. \u201cI can\u2019t play another season of 41-year-old me pretending to be 23.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cAt some point, you\u2019ve got to prepare for the end. I\u2019d be stupid not to be prepared. I look at it that way. I\u2019m set up for the future. I\u2019ve loved filming the show, being on the show, but the past few years have been rough. I\u2019m ready to move on.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Corey confirmed that he was not in any talks with History to renew his contract at the time, either. He also addressed his father\u2019s podcast\u00a0Pawn After Dark<\/em>, adding, \u201cThey told me what they are doing and I said, \u2018Alright, cool. I\u2019ll pack it up. I\u2019m moving to Mexico. You guys have a fun time out here and do what you want to do.\u2019 My dad will work \u2019til the day he collapses. That\u2019s just not me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Where does Corey Harrison live?<\/h2>\n

Another part of the reason that Corey likely won\u2019t be part of\u00a0Pawn Stars<\/em>\u00a0in the future is because he\u2019s relocated to Tulum, Mexico, and no longer lives in Las Vegas. He moved there a few months after filming wrapped on\u00a0Pawn Stars<\/em>\u00a0Season 23 in June 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve gotten to be friends with the mayor of Tulum, Diego,\u201d he said. \u201cThe police come by once or twice a day to check on things, get photos with me. I never thought I\u2019d be hanging out with cops and politicians in Mexico. I figured my life would always go a different way.\u201d<\/p>\n

How did Corey Harrison lose weight?<\/h2>\n

During his time on\u00a0Pawn Stars<\/em>, Corey underwent a massive physical transformation when he lost nearly 200 pounds. He reached nearly 402 pounds when his doctor put him on preventative diabetes medication, which made him realize he had to start losing weight.<\/p>\n

He ended up having a lap band surgery and told\u00a0People\u00a0in 2014 that he was down to 210 pounds for a weight loss total of 192 pounds.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m actually excited to go to the gym now,\u201d he gushed. \u201cI box 12 rounds a day five days a week. When I was a teenager I loved snowboarding, but in my 20s I was too big to strap my feet in the boards. Being able to finally touch my toes made me realize I could snowboard again, so I went out and got new gear immediately.\u201d<\/p>\n

Why was Corey Harrison arrested?<\/h2>\n

In 2023, Corey was arrested in Las Vegas and charged with DUI, per\u00a0TMZ. Police witnessed his vehicle veering between two lanes and pulled him over, having to use a public address system when he was \u201cslow to stop.\u201d<\/p>\n

The arresting officer noted that there was a \u201cstrong odor of alcohol\u201d and said Corey\u2019s eyes were bloodshot. He was taken into custody after a field sobriety test and booked in Las Vegas county jail after being given a blood test since the breathalyzer machine was not working.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Harrison claimed he had only had one drink on a flight hours earlier. He was released from jail after eight hours and said he intended to fight the charges.<\/p>\n

Is Corey Harrison married?<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s unclear if Harrison is currently in a relationship, but he\u2019s been married twice before. His first wife was his high school sweetheart, Charlene. However, they divorced in 2015.<\/p>\n
