The Voice Season 26 is set to crown a winner in early December, but when will Season 27 start? The show is switching it up with a major change over previous seasons. Find out why the new season’s premiere is a departure from what the show has done in the past.

When Does The Voice Return for Season 27?

The Voice Season 26 live semi-final performances are set to air December 2 and December 3, 2024, with the performance finale on December 9 and the winner announced on the December 10 season finale.

The Voice coaches for Season 26 were Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg and Gwen Stefani, but when the show returns for Season 27, only Bublé will continue. He’ll be joined by John Legend, Adam Levine, and Kelsea Ballerini.

In a November 19 Instagram post, the show announced that Season 27 will premiere on February 3, 2025, which is different from the typical scheduling. The Voice‘s new seasons premiere later in February/March and again in September each year. The caption noted, “Mic drop moment: #TheVoice is back February 3, 2025 with Coaches @kelseaballerini, @adamlevine, @johnlegend, and @michaelbuble. 🎤”

Some fans were taken aback by the earlier premiere date. “Woah that’s VERY early for a spring season,” one person commented. “More live shows please? 😮” Another noted, “It’s usually very late February though, never this soon.”

One fan shared their thoughts on why the new season is starting earlier. “Makes me think that this may be another 14 contestant per artist season,” they shared. “Usually in the spring cycle coaches have 10, but starting almost a month in advance is possibly done to compensate for the additional artists.”

Other fans remarked that the new season’s coaches won’t have the same spark that people loved with Bublé, McEntire, Snoop, and Stefani. “The chemistry between the coaches this season is unmatched, no season has been this good,” one person noted.

Another fan agreed, writing, “I actually wasn’t sure what it was going to be like when they announced the judges, but this season has been my favorite… the chemistry between them is the best!”

The Voice continues to be a hit every season, but host Carson Daly told Awards Radar ahead of Season 26 that there wasn’t a lot of confidence in the competition show when it started.

“People thought [The Voice] was never gonna work, and not only did it work, but it’s lasted for 25 seasons,” he said. “So I think that’s really the crazy part is that it’s staying power that we’ve been able to keep an audience interested, and tweak the show and let the format evolve by adding steals and those little features that kind of make it exciting again. Every time it’s on, it feels fresh.”

MADE OF AMERICA 🇺🇸❤️ Budweiser just did what only Budweiser knows how to do — and reminded everyone why its Super Bowl ads still own American emotion. From the first notes of “Free Bird,” the tone is set. Sweeping landscapes. Iconic Clydesdales. A quiet sense of pride that builds without shouting. It doesn’t rush. It lets the feeling settle — and then it hits. Fans are already calling it one of the brand’s most powerful commercials ever, not because it tries to say something… but because it shows it. Every image adds another layer of meaning, another pulse of nostalgia, resilience, and identity. And then comes the final moment. No words. No explanation. Just a single image that feels heavy in the best way — the kind that makes people rewind, sit still, and feel something they didn’t expect. People aren’t just watching this ad. They’re replaying it. Arguing about it. Feeling it 👇 See why this ending won’t leave your head 👇

“For just a few seconds… everything felt still.” As the Budweiser ad unfolded, no one was prepared for the moment that made the entire room go quiet. A tiny bald eagle chick — shaky, vulnerable — stepped onto the broad back of a Clydesdale and didn’t pull away. No explanation followed. No music swelled to tell you what it meant. Just a fragile choice… met with absolute calm. For a heartbeat, the world seemed to pause. Viewers felt it before they understood it — a strange mix of tenderness, trust, and something almost forgotten.
