A clip of Michael Bublé giving his wife Luisana Lopilato a nudge with his elbow during one of their Instagram Live segments caused a stir with some fans and subsequently went viral.
Some people, including in her home country of Argentina, thought he was being abusive towards her and went as far as to make death threats against the Canadian singer.
Now, nearly one month on, Lopilato confessed she’s still shaken up by the harsh and disturbing responses her husband has had to endure.

‘It made me afraid and I still feel a little bit frightened,’ she said during an interview with Intrusos, a television show that’s broadcast in Argentina.
‘It’s not nice to receive death threats. The positive messages we received outnumbered them but I am worried for my family.’
Lopilato, 32, added that she had suffered a lot from the backlash, and that the ordeal has caused also her husband a lot of pain, especially the harsh criticism from fans in his wife’s native country.
‘He loves Argentina and he loves being with me in Argentina when I’m working. He loves the friends he has in Argentina,’ she explained.

The actress-model revealed some people got downright scary with their threats.
‘We received a lot of love from people but you wouldn’t believe the amount of people who sent me photos with weapons saying they were going to kill Mike when he reached Argentina,’ she said.
The mother of three added that there were ‘photos of knives from people laughing and saying they were going to cut off his fingers, leave a bomb for us or give him a beating.’

‘I want you to know that I have no doubts who my husband is and I would choose him a thousand times more!! It’s not fair!’ she wrote on Instagram in April, shortly after the backlash over the video emerged.

The couple, who were married in Argentina in March 2011, are the proud parents to three children: sons Noah, six, and Elias, four, and daughter Vida, 22 months.
